ooooh, any new eateries on the social calendar horizon muddy? In londinium town or elsewhere? Was thinking about you when there was all the talk of various eateries on the CIN bidding on R2 - Kerridge, Stein et al.
How is your nephew doing? I noticed his present acquisition is on your 'to do' listAnd how are your brother and sis-in-law doing? Can't believe that they aren't anything less than exhausted, but I know they will say 'it's what you do as parents', which of course, is absolutely right. I do hope that they've perhaps all turned a corner with these blessed allergies now.
Oh, and are you doing any hampers this year?
Have a great weekend

No clashes :T
Plans for December include a weekend in Cheltenham, hosting a Christmas party for our lovely neighbours (5 households) and a couple of local gastropub meals with friends
We hadn't thought about a fancy meal in London... until you mentioned it Greying! We're now booked for lunch at a new-to-us Michelin-starred restaurant in Mayfair on 29 December :j
We've also agreed our plans for the Christmas period.
Christmas Eve - invite my dad (& that woman) - salmon en croute?
Christmas Day - just us - HM ham (that we'll be making for Boxing Day) with bubble & squeak and poached eggs
Boxing Day - invite Mr MWC's family - buffet
Wednesday or Thursday - day trip to the IOW to visit my brother
Friday - London
Saturday - lazy day
New Year's Eve - family party
New Year's Day - lazy dayGreying_Pilgrim wrote: »How is your nephew doing? I noticed his present acquisition is on your 'to do' listAnd how are your brother and sis-in-law doing? No new allergies :T and they appear to be settling into a routine (my brother reduced his hours and is a stay-at-home dad 3.5 days/week).
Presents wrapped - wooden toys from his list and, even though my brother said no more clothes, I couldn't resist this & these when we were in Philly.Greying_Pilgrim wrote: »Oh, and are you doing any hampers this year?

Oh love, I am voluntarily going to ban myself from your thread - on account of how I'm (inadvertently) causing you to spend money and giving you palpitations and  about hampers that you weren't thinking of making anyway - SORRY!!!
I'm glad all seems to be stabilising with your nephew's health. That is brilliant newsi love the 'extra' gifts too - so colourful and cute! No chance of anyone else having the same

Mr MWC thanks you :rotfl: He's decided that the fancy meal will be our Christmas present to each other so he doesn't have to think of a gift for me (and forgetting that he's already asked Father Christmas for a sous vide wand...)
And mentioning the hampers now is a good thing otherwise I would have got to December and gone :eek::eek: If you're expecting them, then I sure the usual recipients will be too!Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
