  • I am very glad that the wipe out was only a 'nearly' and that you are here to tell the tale, MWC.

  • Me too!

Very thankful that the drivers behind me had their wits about them when I realised that slamming on my brakes wasn't going to avoid a collision, with the numpty who had pulled out in front of me from a side road, and I instinctively swerved into the other lane

That sounds awful, glad you're ok and well done Miss Hattie :T.

Here's to sunny times ahead .

From me too - I saw a bad accident over Christmas with exactly this, from the sound of it, someone pulling out from a side road onto a dual carriageway :( Hope you're not too shaky this morning.

Must. Stop. Looking. At. Pinterest. :o

We have another meeting with the second kitchen designer on Friday. I didn't like his design so I sent him my ideas and asked him to try again! I've already chosen new crockery, saucepans, table and chairs, tea towels, artwork and a bright orange vertical radiator :rotfl: Desperately trying not to buy anything until we at least finalise the kitchen layout though... it's very hard...

I've now moved on to living room ideas :rotfl:

No real :money: news - the kitchen fund is at target but I haven't made any OPs to the mortgage and I'm still waiting for a £450 refund to my CC following a fraudulent transaction just before Christmas

Don't forget to build some contingency into that kitchen fund - ours went waaaaayyyy over!
