My Money claim states Acknowledges..... what happens now?
  • Today's the day I file my claim, I am doing so online now.

What address do I put in the defendants details?

The infamous Mr C Langdale at the Arlington Business Centre address, whom all correspondence has been from, or their registered head office at Canada Square?

    Cheers

Should be the banks registered address now.

    Please Help.....

Am just about to send my second letter giving 7 days before I start Court Proceedings but can't find my copy of the charges that I printed out using this sites calculater plus interest.
I received a letter from them on saturday saying that they are considering my claim so I know they received the first lot of charges that were printed out.

    What should I do
    Please Help

You could phone them and ask them what the total is. I would start again inputting the charges though as this list will form part of your claim in court proceedings.

and take several copies this time!

... being dumb but wait for what, the bank to say something??? The court???
  • Hi there,
I am so pleased I have found this forum. I have been charged £8.00 per day for unautorised overdraft fee plus charges for payments made with insufficient funds by Yorkshire Bank.
Has anyone had experience with them and does it matter that I have just closed the account?

Thank you, all advice greatfully received.

I am now feeling quite brave after winning against first direct and so am going to go for Egg and Cahoot but need a couple of questions answered please!!!!

    1) with cahoot it is my current account and credit card - the interest rates on the credit card are as much as the overlimit charge! Shall I go get the interest charge aswell???

    2) has anyone had their accounts closed by cahoot?? I couldn’t care about egg as I no longer use their credit card but I am slightly worried cahoot will tell me to go elsewhere…

    Luv n hugs
  • Hi All..
We have put in a claim to Natwest, to recover just over £5000 in charges..

They have responded by saying they take up to 8 weeks to give an official responce, even though i have used all template letters on this site....

Is this usual practice..or should i start court proceedings, or wait the 8 weeks first...
  • Have you sent your letter before action? If not send that one and stick to your time frame.

Stick to your timetable and ignore the banks delaying tactic.
