    Bank: Lloyds TSB
    Account claimed: £3100

Made a claim online and paid £120.00. TSB acknowledged the claim on 23rd April and they have now filed a defence disputing the full amount. Waiting for Allocation Questionnaire to arrive now and hoping dont have to pay another £100 :(

Does that mean that I cannot claim for anything between Feb 2001 and May 2001?

They acknowledged my comlaint on the 8th of Feb.

You can go back 6 years ... 2001 is just 6 years ago.

Re other claims for late payments on loans, I do not kow

I recently sent initial claim to my bank giving them 14 days to reply, however i didn't include the interest in the total value. This adds up to almost £600 so i'd like to get this back if possible.

Is it a case of waiting to see if it gets to court or have i missed out altogether??

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

. I cannot reply to the bank's solicitor letter myself as it is all legal jargon and wouldn't have a clue on how to respond.

Simply write back to the Natwest solicitor saying that you are unable to understand their request and to re-send the letter in understandable English

There is no reason why you should not submit a further claim for interest to be included wth your first claim

    ME TOO.
I spoke to MCOL help desk yesteday and she said they are no longer sending out questionaires, the case will be transferd to your local court and you will be sent a date, this is because they are hacked off with the cost of sending quetionaires when the banks are just not appearing, this is all designd to grind you down and throw in the towel, sit tight we are going to win.
if you have to pay more initial costs just consider it an investment, victory is close.

    Nationwide

Claimed £1,607.05 (incl interest and costs) for my girlfriend
Received £1,607.05 today deposited as three amounts for £999, £386.50 and £221.55.

We haven't received a letter from Nationwide yet, so don't know if they'll close the account or not.

Thanks for your support and good luck to anyone who hasn't done it yet.

Just received a letter from Nationwide which says that they are not closing the account, but will do next time.

    Please could someone help?
I sent off my request for statements by recorded delivery on march 7th.
I have not recieved anything yet (and by my counting the 40 days were up today, 3rd may)
I called them on May 1st to ask if they had recieved it, I was told thatthey recieved it on the 14th April and have 40 days from then to respond.
I checked my recorded delivery code with Royal Mail which says that it was recieved on March 8th.

Where do I go from here? should I call up Barclays and complain again before contacting the information commisioner?

When does the 40 days actually start from? the date i send? the date it's recieved?

What do I actually have to say to the information commissioner?

    Please can someone help?
  • Amount requested £8300 including court fees and interest
    Amount offered £6000

Started in January and now at the county court stage awaiting a date. Completed response to solicitor yesterday and sent to county court by guaranteed next day delivery for deadline today. The solicitors requested terms and conditions of bank and bank rates and charges as part of the 'response and further information and clarification'. I see these as scare tactics.

Does anyone know how long it will take to be given a court date at my local county court?

I have just got to that stage but did not have to compete a questionaire or pay any further money out.

    Goodluck
