I am led to believe it is possible to reclaim late payment charges for catalogues, and we can use the same templates that are provided for bank charges and just change the wording.

If we no longer have the statements, do we just right to the catalogues and ask them for a copy of all late payment charges, and do we have to pay a fee for this?

Has anyone else done this and had success?

    Thanks

Hello, wondering if anyone can help, have sent second letter back to the halifax asking for my charges back, they sent me a letter saying it will take six weeks to look into my complaint, should i send the third letter? as its been ovedr 3 weeks or am i obliged to wait the six weeks?
also i have 5 other accounts with the halifax, would they close all of them or just the one i'm claiming for?

Did you state a time in which they had to comply before you take them to court?
If so, send a letter stating that the original time has lapsed and you can give them a further amount of time before you go through the courts without any firther notice. This is what I am about to do with my bank.

    Hello
I have recently sent Halifax a letter requesting my bank charges of £217 back. I sent this letter to my branch.
I have received a letter back from the assisstant manager telling me to call customer services.
Shall I call them - will they be able to help??

Keep to your time scale, after the 14 days, send your second letter, threatining coart action.

Can you claim the over limit fees of £12 on credit cards
  • Hi, I hope that this is the right place to write this but I am very frustrated. I wrote to the Clydesdale Bank asking for copies of my charges (with the £10 cheque required) and about 10 days later got a reply saying that they had received my paperwork and were working on it. I then received a letter on Friday of last week advising that they would not be able to get the paperwork to me in the 40 days due to there being so many applications. I called them this morning and asked how long they thought that it would take them and they advised that if I had not heard anything within two weeks to give them a call back. My question is do I just wait? HELP!!!

On the HMCS website it asks if my claim includes any issues under the human rights act 1998. Do I say yes or no?
Am just claiming the bank charges and interest from HSBC.
