This may be a really thick question but anyway....................
Im aiming to get my £1467 from lloyds tsb and so far they have been quite good-sending statements etc promptly-all 54 enevlopes worth lol!

Im currently writing letter number 3 saying that i will be taking them to court if I hear nothing in the next 14 days. But what court do I put in the letter?
My local court? Cant find anything in the thread about which address to put in.

    Thanks sarah x
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    Claimed £1657 back from lloyds.
Have paid all my debt off with bank money
    (£1300 worth)

Only a £400 loan left to pay now.

    Hi everyone

Just wanted to let you all know that Bank of Scotland did not respond to my manual county court claim. I've now entered judgement and await their response and £130 cheque. Only Natwest to go but they've stated that they are defending my claim. Not to worry though, it cost me £30 and should cost them hundreds with legal fees etc.
Thanks Martin for this fantastic site.

You can leave it as 'local court' for now or look up your local court here :

    Good luck :)

  • Hi
Sorry if this question has already been asked but I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere... On the MCOL form do I use the address of my branch or the head office address? If it's the head office I need to use can someone please confirm RBS head office address.
    Thanks!

I am ready to file MCOL for HSBC - the original amount that I was claiming for was £1669 plus £197.10 interest which totalled to £1866.10.

    1) Do I need to recalculate the interest using the calculater on this site to update the interest before I finish the MCOL.

    2) I have noticed that since I last sent my charges list to HSBC - I have had another 3 charges taken from my bank account adding up to £125.00 - do I need to include these on the claim form as well as these haven't been mentioned to HSBC.

    Thanks for your help

You will need to recalculate the interest to date yes, it all adds up :)

You can also include any recent charges and HSBC will have the details and plenty of time to consider them when they receive the particulars of claim for the court for any possible defence they wish to make.

    Good luck :)
  • List of charges

In order to defend the claim in the court after submitting it, do we need to have a list of the charges prepared to return if requested. I have only written a rough list but will prpeare one if advised here. (I don't think my pencilled copy would suffice)
