    Can I just say "TUT TUT Barclays bank" you have been well and truly exposed by the BBC tonight!:p
  • The BBC Whistleblower programme was for sure an eye opener tonight. And justifys this website and the support given here.

    The calculation shown that bouncing a cheque costs the bank 9p was a shocker and I hope gives people renewed confidence to claim for all charges and not settle for less. Even if you settle in full without interest because you feel responsible for your charges through mismanagement of the account then they have still got more than the actual cost. Something to think about.

    It took RBS about 2 weeks to send me the last six years worth of statements (they didn't list the charges, I had to do that from the statements). I sent my letter to them claiming charges on 2nd February and the full amount of charges claimed was in my account on 26th February. Good luck with both your claims.
