I know what you mean! It takes me most of the day to complete the tasks that flylady reckons will take an hour!!! I am however playing catch-up I suppose. I mix extra jobs into the list still - I did the tops of my kitchen cupboards today:eek: , it was like an episode of filth files. Have scrubbed them clean and laid tea-towels on the tops now, will change the tea-towels and wipe the tops each week to save having to spend so long on them in future.

Also, my DS (4) was "helping" today. God bless him, I can't wait until this baby's born and he has someone else to play with, I make a rubbish spidergirl. I'd love to own the outfit though and DH seems to think that's a good idea too - although perhaps when I'm not 8 months pregnant!

It gets easier, the first week took me ages to do, now I can get most days done in 30 mins, or less if I'm being uber lazy and just do the bits that need doing, ie no point cleaning the windows if they are still clean from the previous week. Kitchen is always the worst day for me, so unless you have about 3 spare rooms / kids rooms you'll probably find the rest of the days quicker to do.

Hi all, hope you're flying high? Will be back to join you soon hopefully. I've spent all day cleaning the house after his departure, just waiting for some new shelving units to arrive so I can get rid of the book mountain that has taken over my bedroom floor and I will be organised again :D
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

My BF keeps saying that one day there's going to be a knock at the door and someone has come to collect him as I've listed him on freecycle !!

I need a huge kick up the backside as I have no motivation to go back and finish off the kitchen.
