    • 1 load of baby's washing (bedding/towels) done and hung up
    • DH going mad with a saw and the chipper in the garden  :D Good job we are not that into what the garden is like is all i can say.
    • uploaded wedding photos onto friends website
    • had a phone conversation with another friend who has just got engaged.
    • wipe the outside of the small appliances in the kitchen
    • thoroughly clean the microwave, particularly on the inside (15 mins of heating fruit, plus 10mins of jacket tatties and the dirt was really loosened, so i attacked it with my microfibre)
    • cleaned kitchen sink/draining board/plastics (finishing off an old bottle of cream cleaner, so another item decluttered)
    • cleaned landing window where DH had put a handprint when he rehung the curtains for me yesterday
    • had a quick bedroom tidy
    • put a fresh grow-bag in babies cot
    • emptied airers, folded stuff and put it away
Slow start. Managed to sleep in till 9  , then we have had a slow chilled morning. DH has washed up, i have the WM loaded but haven't pressed go yet.

We are all dressed, we have been playing around on the computer sorting out photos, and putting some from last weekends wedding onto my friends wedding website.

So here are the piccies that i said i would upload once i got sorted. Me and Charlie, and then a full body of Charlie to show off his posh suit. Hope you like them. (1st time i have showed anyone on OS what i look like, so don't laugh ;) )

Best do something now. now DH has decided to garden, that has put a bit of a spanner in the works for what i want to do. Oh well - at least somethings happening

    Michelle, x

2:00 - baby just snoozing again, so i will go and hang up my load of washing, and go from there. Might get 30 mins if i am lucky. (about 35 mins - but i used it well)

6:55 - DH just put baby to bed and went in the bath. I've just caught up with home and away (absolutely vital). DH did a load of washing up before he went up.

plan now - cook dinner, leave DH to clear kitchen again, then go upstairs, get that ironing board out and do some of that. Looking at the list, i've not done too badly, but as usual i still don't feel like it's enough.

Michelle - You look gorgeous and your boy looks so smart in his suit! Hope you all had a good day.

I've been whizzing around a bit this morning catching up - I've been at work over the bank holiday - you wouldn't believe how many pets get poorly at Easter. I think naughty owners are sneaking them choccie!:D

Need to sort dinner out as I think a few folk may turn up........... usually this happens on a Sunday but we were at my mums for our Easter family meal. I have a very comfy sofa at one end of the kitchen and there's usually someone parked on it on roast dinner day! It's quite nice though cos it means there's someone to talk to while I cook............ well, better get on and do some more, perhaps the hoovering next or I could peg out some more washing.

Enjoy the sunshine if you get the chance - see you later.;)

You look lovely Michelle (do you realise that you can click on the first photo and we could all see all those photos? I haven't looked but thought I'd mention it in case you don't want to share them all).

Load of washing drying well, including handwash jumper belonging to DD.

We've been to the garden centre and got a couple of plants including a catmint which the cats were attacking while it was still in the pot!

Well we can see where Charlie gets his looks from (all in the genes :D ), and how georgous is that suit!! Bet he took some of the attention away from the bride! Love the shoes too by the way. We were in Tesco's the other day and I had a broody moment when I saw all the iddy biddy pram shoes they had! I LOVE baby feet

I had twigged. Don't know how to make it not do that edited to add -if you look at the toolbar in the edit post advanced option there is a button that has a red bit that looks like the maths sign for infinity, and i don't suppose it really matters on here. Not as many people use this thread as often as the others, and i can always delete later.
therefore, no link anymore. Danger averted.

Thanks for telling me though. You can't be too careful with your kids can you.

    Michelle. x

Oh - and thanks for all the compliments. That was the dress i had all the hoo-haa with trying to fit into, and on the day it looked really nice and was comfortable too.

And as for Charlie's outfit, who can blame me for not being able to resist.

I started actually doing this a few weeks ago - after a few weeks of looking at the lists and thinking EEEK! When you actually get down to it the lists aren't all that long really. However last week I was sledgehammered with the flu all week so didn't get anything done, and I'm still trying to get my strength up. I've done a bit today, but I'll really get back into it in a couple of days I think.

Justamum, heres to a speedy recovery - that takes priority, the cleaning will be there next week when the list comes around! Just do the necessary until your back up to strength and then you can fly with avengance!
  • Decided to join in this week, and have managed most of tasks on list, even though I had to hoover round DH and DS! It does give you a sense of accomplishment when its done though.

Michelle-Lovely photos of you and Charlie, what a cutie he is!

Hall, stairs and front room done this morning whilst I let DS have a play on the computer.
Just need to clean the windows in there a bit later on.

Emails have been sent, eggs have been sorted, homework sheet completed and bank statement printed to cross check with later when a bit quiter round here. Will also read passport application then when I can concentrate a bit more.

Will iron tonight whilst playing something on Radio 7 Listen Again service.

Lots of bouncing on trampoline done today with DS, my legs will be in agony tomorrow!
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

  • michelle - is that the dress you were upset about not fitting properly?!!! you look lovely and how cute is that boy of yours!!

well am pleased with what done so far - as my landing has a big space on it that used to be a bedroom before we did the extension - and is no commonly referred to as 'the playspace' today it is clearer that it has been for ages, i have two loads of washing on the line, have done the dailies and had a few hours up on exmoor

now i am off to s&s downstairs as i have that meeting thing at my house tonight so i need to get it ready - i am also going to do the living room, as the sofas don't need doing as the old covers are off and clean ones on - i just have to wash first set again now!!

    so catch you later
