I don't usually have days like this but what with the rat hunt this morning then my trip to hospital this afternoon I don't feel like I have achieved much today. We got to hospital on time but when we got back in the car it wouldn't start so spent three hours away from home. Gave me and DS2 time together. Now I am flaked but DS3 vacuumed lounge while I was out, and tidied his bedroom.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

poohbear don't worry we all have days like that, 3 hours out because of car trouble doesn't sound fun at all, put your feet up hunny, I am sure whatever needs doing isn't that urgent and will be there when you feel up to it. Ok this threads about motivatio, but also like it to be realistic, we all have lives and do many different things and all have good and bad days. Oh and do you hire the ones that vacuum for you out ? :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........

See I'm not dead!!!
I drank almost a full bottle of vodka.. My SIL drank a whole bottle of red wine and as she is diabetic ended up in A&E until 3am.. see.. we have fun parties!!!
It was lovely here so the children ended up staying outside.. we ended up with a few more than we bargained for.. but all the food went.. and most of the drink.. and all the children, apart from mine, went home!!
Today we just had to run the vacuum round the house and all is spicked and spanned again.. love it!!
We had a brainwave and used paper plates and plastic beakers too so there wasn't even any washing up.. the last few burgers we fed the children for lunch today.. and the left over chicken became spanish chicken and they got it for tea.
Best go fling everyone in bed.. them I am off for a shower!!

pigpen seems like a fab BBQ. We had a great one when we were students where the grill was cooking for over 12 hours. those were the days. And sounds great that there isn't much mess to tidy up.

Evening,
Just having a catch up on the thread as I've not been on for..ooh, over a day.. parties have been and gone, lost voices, found creatures, crossed out lists.. Hope everyone had fun/gets better/is patting themselves on the back.
After bathroom day I realised how shabby it is in there. So I'm just back from Ikea with new towel rail, blind and the like (and the obligatory tealights of course). That's my project for the weekend if the sun doesn't shine.
Realised too that my post count isn't going up much, still feel like the new girl. I'm never quick enough to answer questions on OS and never need to ask any as there's sooo much info on there. I'm always the people watcher at parties too so maybe I'll never get beyond double figures!
No visiting or visitors for me this weekend, just DIY and lovely double overtime Sunday morning. Might tackle todays list tomorrow. Or might wait 'til next week, the spare room isn't going to get any worse! One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

See I'm not dead!!!
I drank almost a full bottle of vodka..
 I probably would be dead! Since having the sprogs I've become a very cheap date - a single glass of wine makes me incoherent now!
Glad it all went well. You deserved a fun time after all the work you put in.
Been working non-stop all week, the boxes that I predicted would end up in the kitchen did, but I finally persuaded OH to let me put them into the garage for now. So all floors that should be clear in the house are now clear. My mantra at the moment goes along the lines of "What would I be most embarassed about if anyone came to look at the house right now?" and that's what I do next. Stupid isn't it, you have all these odd jobs hanging around for months or years, and when you decide to put your house on the market, you do them and find they only take 20 minutes or so and wonder why you never made time to do them before.
I've also been Freecycling for all I'm worth, and it's wonderful. I feel so good about giving this stuff away to people who actually want it and good about getting rid of the clutter from my life. The people I've been meeting are brilliant too, very helpful and interesting.
Over the weekend I have a new washing line to concrete in and then I can get all the bedding washed (hope it stays fine!). Also need to do a trip to the tip and do some more tidying up in the garden and shed. We've also got lots of paperwork ahead of us, but hope to spend a day out with the kids too.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Oh poohbear do send them, if they can iron even better, I might even feed them too :rotfl: Saying that my youngest DS is opposite to the oldest and a great little helper sometimes. He's just turned 6 but is very tall (about 4ft 7 now at a guess as he's not much smaller than my Mam) and built well so he comes in handy especially for carrying/moving things. I didn't have much energy and wanted the sitting room done so he moved the sofa for me, then of course gets his whip out and says 'Hurry ups want to move that one now' so he's a slave driver aswell!!! He also waters the plants in the garden for me most days, but his fave job is washing things, especially doors and cupboards.
Michelle you've done wonders, I am impressed, well donemake sure you have some time to yourself, don't want you burning yourself out (or putting the rest of us to shame
)
Pigpen so pleased to hear you are alive (and that isn't sarcastically) sorry to hear about your sis, hope she's feeling better and has learned from that little 'mistake'
Solway pressuming the Gateshead Ikea, hope you didn't get lost in there, I did when they changed it round, oh I love Ikea, might go back when kids are back at school, DS1 doesn't like going anymore because he's 8 now and the play area is under 8s only, throws a right strop!
Mermaid great to hear from you, sounds like you've been very busy, well done at clearing some clutter tooOne day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me, it was Gateshead and yes I got lost in there! It is a bit fab tho and was nice and quiet this evening. Lots of wishfull thinking on my part and not much spending. Shame about the ballpark age limit - they should think about having one for grown ups in my opinion! One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Couldn't agree with you more when it comes to the ball park!! Looks fab in the new one aswell so he was just more miffed off when he couldn't go in. My feet hurt when I'd got round the new one for the first time, saying that the extra miles I did from getting lost, after negotiating the new car park lay out! probably why!
I always end up spending more than I intend to, last time spent a fortune on 'Sea Room' stuff for DS1, he seen the sea room they have done and was in heaven. I still have to finish making his bed curtains with the stuff I boughtbut doing that when they are back to school.
I'm currently working on my extras list actually for when they are back to school, they don't go back until Tuesday :rotfl: there is just so many things I have put off as they make it more chaos to do, or just down to the time it takes.haven't done DPs trousers yet, decided double episode of Extreme Make Over : Home Edition on now so just sending some emails, replying to a few posts then will do them as I watch that
but I did get the kids fish tank completely cleaned out (they all died so thought best to take opportunity to restart) so will set that back up tomorrow and refill it.
One day I might be more organised...........
