Right. I have the whole day just me and bubs tomorrow as DH won't get back from working away until the early hours of Saturday morning, so i will be trying a different tactic for flying tomorrow.

I am finding myself very unfocussed because of the size of my 'to-do list' which i know is because i am trying to play catch up. So, for tomorrow, i will make a small list on this post, then when i come back i will be able to tick it all off, and then refocus for the next bit of the day, and keep myself more motivated ( fingers crossed) ;)

I still have my master to-do on my computer, so the tasks will come off there, and you lot will be able to assess if i'm flying. I think i am getting a bit bored of the format we are doing. I was much better before the fly-lady stuff took on this structure. Well, i can only try it.

pigpen hope the BBQ went well, we had nice weather in S yorkshire today, as i was out in the garden at my sisters house on the trampoline with my 3 nephews, so hopefully the kids managed to stay out and not trash your hard work.

tracyg our babies are similar ages by the sounds of it. Charlie is 6 months next week. Your purees sound good. Are they ones you have made up or have you got them from a book? as i'm using annabel karmel, but haven't seen those recipes in her books

lil me hope you feel better real soon. Thanks for keeping us all in line even though you are feeling grotty.

Anyway, to get me started (on lappy in bed at the minute so very chilled and can think)

    Friday 13/4:
    1) feed myself and baby
    2) get load of baby stuff through WM
    3) come upstairs to get me and baby dressed
    4) get our bed and the cot bed stripped, and through WM
    5) empty airers
    6) hang up load of washing
    7) hoover mattresses
    8) pack baby bag to go out
    9) take baby to clinic to get weighed and get his eczma checked
    10) buggy put away, baby book put away
    11) stick a banana and walnut loaf in BM
    12) get bedding out onto line
    13) put load of my jeans in WM, out on line
    14) deal with post
    15) check emails, pay CC bill, check internet banking, transmit shop and scan

will be popping back once i've done some stuff, and then setting my next targets. Hopefully if i avoid switching on the computer 1st thing, i won't waste as much of the day.

    Michelle, x

Friday - Dreaded kids rooms and spare rooms

    1. [STRIKE]Strip the kids beds[/STRIKE], remake with clean linen (just washing duvet!) after [STRIKE]vacuuming mattress[/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]Dust and make sure everything is in it's place (laundry, toys, books etc)[/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]Vacuum floor inc under bed if you can[/STRIKE]

    Spare rooms

If you have one, give it 10 minutes of your time

Extra just the weekend prep, [STRIKE]quick S&S of bathroom and kitchen[/STRIKE], quick tidy of sitting room before bed to make sure all set for the lovely weekend. Well that's the end of the week sorted, hope you all have a fab weekend. See you on Monday/Sunday evening.

This room used to terrify me until I started the sticker system with DS (only 4). He now keeps his room relatively tidy. Not the way I keep mine, but not bad for a wee man. I can see the carpet and everything!

Well, I can't start until he gets up, so I'm twiddling my thumbs for another hour or two...I might have five or ten minutes in the airing cupboard of death...

Friday - Dreaded kids rooms and spare rooms :j ALL DONE, so glad I do upstairs in one go! I work weekends so this means I have a spare day!

    Spare rooms - AS ABOVE:j

Am planning on tidying the conservatory today, did the windows yesterday so should not take long.

Need to put last nights ironing away - DH did it :j

    Right off for cuppa.

Hope the anti-biotic kick in soon Lil-me.

Michelle - I think ditching the catch-up list is the best idea. It will be Monday again all to soon, so do the revised list and enjoy the sun:D

Pigpen - Sooooo we all want to know how it went???

    Morning all :hello:

Lil_me - hope the anti-biotics kick in soon.

Rach - hope you have a nice time.

Pigpen - so...how did it go?

    Everyone else - :grouphug:

I didn't really achieve that much of my list yesterday but I did tackle DD's bedroom and its all done (apart from deep cleaning by moving the bed & dolls house etc which will be done when she's back at school, and a couple of items of clothing & the step ladders which will get done today). Then a 4pm I decided I'd have a quick sort of our room :o Got a shock when OH arrived home at 4.20 instead of 5.10 and then even more so when he decided to sort his stuff out :j:D We now have enough hanging space so that in theory OH's shirts & my "good" clothes should stay reasonably crease free, unlike previously when everything got creased :o I just have a few things left to sort out, as in put away, the hoovering and that will be done as well. :D

So I need to do my list that I posted yesterday so the gardening will have to wait again. Right now I'm off to sort DD out who's supposed to be cleaning her teeth then we're off to Asda to do a minimal shop

Cheeky DH, am a bit angry with him.

I was cleaning last night while he was watching the simpsons and he got all stressy with me and told me I was doing too much and will wear myself out.

Funny that he didn't think I was working too hard when I made his dinner, washed the dishes and washed, dried and folded all of his work clothes. Not to mention that this house is practically spotless all of the time now. Only when I interrupt his precious TV programme does he think to mention anything.

My DH did exactly the same on monday when I was dusting the living room because he was watching sport on TV. If it was really bothering him he could have moved to another room or even helped!

I don't like Fridays during school holidays as I can't get [STRIKE]little[/STRIKE]big horrors out of bed. Since I refused to let them go out unless their rooms are tidy they haven't gone out, so punishment hasn't worked yet. I have hospital appointment at 2.30 and they have offered to take me so I know they will be up before then!!

Hope you are feeling better Lil me.

Coughing less but can't talk, sort of pointless trying to squeak instructions to the kids when it comes to helping tidy their room so just going to do it myself. Have had a tidy round, done the beds, dusted the top of drawers. Going to find my stool in a mo (because I'm only diddy) and do the top of the wardrobe and the window. Vacuuming will have to wait until DP is up who as usual was working late last night so don't want to wake him yet.

After I've had a nosey on the internet, time to get downstairs vacuumed and going to clean window, dog decided she'd put her wet nose on it barking at some kids outside (she has a definate thing against kids in hoodies) Waiting for the water to heat up as decided to wash loads of pans which were a bit grimey and realised had no hot water.

Hope everyone has a good day :)

I should say this is something that was on the master to-do since before baby (when i couldn't fit in) and is something that majorly annoys me. :j so will carry on and do the rest today.
    19) [strike]clean inside of fridge[/strike] done properly (i.e. all shelves removed and washed up) and i can't remember when it was done last.

    30) sweep downstairs, then hoover kitchen and living room rug
    31) clean kitchen sink
    32) [strike]clean loo[/strike]
    33) [strike]wipe down shelve above loo[/strike]
    34) [strike]wipe down top of cabinet, and wooden pelmet thing around window[/strike]
    35) [strike]replace toilet block[/strike]
    36) clean bath
    37) clean bathroom sink
    38) bath baby and myself
    39) feed both of us supper
    40) read newspaper so i can then stick it in recycling

1:20 - baby is being really well behaved today, he has just laid in his cot while i did stuff, and is now happily playing on the floor. That must be because the 1st tooth cut through the gum, and is giving him less gip now.

Stripped my bed and remade it, washing on the line but it's a bit dull here today.

Dusted, polished and vacuumed all bedrooms and downstairs. Hoping to cut the grass this afternoon.
