I had co-op at the beginning, my policy started on june of last year, but july changed to tesco because co-op would accept NO modifications at all and the mod i wanted on the punto tesco accepted so I changed to them.

no longer with co-op tesco were good with dealing with this.
    Help me out here:

    1. You acquired the car in August of 2012 but had it insured via the Co-op in June?

    2. Although you didn't acquire the car until August you still managed to swap the insurance to Tesco in July.

    3. In November you were singing the praises of Co-op insurance.

    4. In November you had had the Co-op box installed in the vehicle for 4 months which ties up relatively nicely with an August acquisition.

Doesn't add up old son does it?

    Cheers.

I've posted offer my letter today, accepting the third parties' valuation of my personal injury. Hopefully that idiot will admit liability, so I can recoup my losses, the nightmare, and the difficult time I've gone through.
You do realise that a valuation is not an offer to settle, don't you?

Until liability is established you have nothing. If it is settled 50/50 you will get £1800.

Errm £ 3,600 is what he is claiming is the offer against his PI claim not an offer against the car. But in any event your post will have gone way over the head :D

I realise its not the car. He said his injuries were valued at £3600. If the TP and him are both found to be 50% liable, the TP insurers will only pay 50% of what his injuries are valued at, as I understand it.

So why did you state this on 21/11/2012, keep digging the hole is getting deeper and deeper.
So, I've had the CO-OP young drivers black box in my car for four months now

Apologies. Misunderstood you. Thought you meant the car but you are talking about a split settlement overall. I'll bet my last teabag that the letter (if it exists - my challenge of pic or it didn't happen having been ignored) is on a Without Prejudice basis anyway.

  • I am so angry at my brother, what a selfish, mean unhearted piece of dirt he is.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, btw..

Anyway, my brother says he doesn't earn much with his job wages and he gives my mum £40.00 a month to stay at the house, he's stopping in my room, and i don't want to be in the same room with him so i decided to sleep in the living room.

He always acts like he's broke every month, when i know for a fact he isn't. my other brother took a loan out for him (signed as a guarantor) and he didn't pay, and he could of find the money to pay the company as brother had 28 days to pay or the CCJ would stay on his file. Brother had to ask his girlfriends mum to lend him the money to pay the company off.

Anyway, few days later, he turns up with a car, nothing overly fancy but for someone who claims they are 'broke' every month and to spend money on a car that's worth 800 pounds upwards, then you must have money.

So i decided to go into my room and look for wageslips, and i found out he's picking up nearly 1,800 a MONTH, after tax. What a joke, and he only puts down 40.00 a month. Where the hell, can you live in this day and age by paying 40 a month, have a roof over your head, have food, and hot water etc.

What a complete joke, i'm sitting here and i can't believe it. I've told my mum and she can't believe it also, he knows we were struggling and he puts down ***** 40.00 a month!!!!

I can't tell my other brother about this because he would be absoloutely screwing, knowing that he had the money to repay the loan my brother kindly signed for him.

Thankfully, my other brother recently came into a lottery win few weeks ago, and gave me some money and my mum, but not my other brother because he didn't pay the loan and got him into the **** with the loan but before that we were struggling, and he knew this and he couldn't give my mum more money. the money win isn't a lot, a few thousand, but this really comes in handy for us..

What do people think about this?

EDIT, MY MUM SAYS BECAUSE HE WORKS OVER 30 HOURS A WEEK, HE COULD EVEN BE GETTING £500 TAX CREDITS A MONTH, OMG, THAT'S OVER 2K A MONTH!!!

This is nearer the mark. No mention of the Chelsea and Kensington mansions.
  • Yep dear Mse i am a Troll and need attention please delete my thread and profile end of:D
