I have noticed several posts, particularly on the Disability board, where people have been advised to complete DLA/ ESA forms as if every day was a "worst" day.
Really? Most posters i've seen advise AGAINST doing that as it would be fradulant, though somtimes people have seen professionals who have advised this

The worst case I saw was someone who advised a poster to

"shake, cry, don't wash and go in a mess" - be unable to continue the interview due to your anxiety and depression, then went on to give examples of how to answer the questions asked. - Op had said they had stress not anxiety and or depression

So yes - people DO give a manual on how to claim at times

"tell them you are so ill you need a home visit" - OP had said they can travel with a partner.
  • i was advised by a benefits adviser not naming names, that when fillingin the form you HAVE to fill in the forms as if you were on the upmost worse day of your life in order to get it, i declined to go further as it would be fraud. im not out to play the system, im not out to advise on those on how to bag the benefit, im here purely of my own experience, people ask how to word the forms (because its a mind blasting task) i would give an example of how the form gives examples).

"tell them you are so ill you need a home visit", these people obviously havent been through the system to give such ill advice.
a note from the GP is required for this, and if you attend the GP you can attend that Atos center, a GP will only give a note for those who HE/She visits at home because He/She knows they genuinly need a home visit i laugh at seeing that advice should i say something about it, why bother though because you get jumped on, on these forums.
  • hi im new on here and am looking for some advice, i am currently living with my husband who is a recovering alcoholic and as a result of years of drinking he is now unable to walk and has severe depression to which he has attempted suicide many times, he is registered as partially sighted and i am agrophobic with collapsed arches in my feet which makes it difficult for me to walk aswell and struggle on a daily basis to look after us both. my husband couldnt attend a recent medical and this ended our claim to esa. my husband put in a new claim with sufficient medical reports and has been told he has to attend another medical in 13 weeks!!! we have had no money for 5 weeks and are unable to get crisis loans, as of now we have went 3 days with no food or gas and are getting nowhere. is this legal to not recieve any money atall when a claim is ongoing??? am expecting a fone call in the morning and want to be able to fight my corner properly plz reply, im goin out my mind xx

Ignore topaziem and please dont do anything they suggest, they are a fraud, and will soon be kicked from this forum yet again, seek professional help, topaziem will not help or care, they think they are a one man band to sort out dwp, yet they forget who they are, what age they are, what sex they are claiming to be..

Just preparing myself for the dreaded medical for later.

    Feels very nervous, and sick!!

I have a relative with my who can take notes of what questions is asked, and what I reply with; even though I shall record the session on my mobile phone.

I will let you know how it goes, but I am not looking forward to it.

And it going to be a long journey to get there, and I know I will feel tired before it even starts.

Please wish me luck and fingers crossed; I have enough stress at the moment and a medical is the last thing I need right now!!

    Yes in one word!

You are an outright liar. Yesterday in one post you stated you were a 31 year old woman, looking after her sick mother then in another post 1 hour later you were a 64 year old man.
You are a vile troll who likes to confuse and abuse disabled people seeking help and should be banned from this forum

The troll spends his/her/its time bashing anyone claiming any kind of benefits and needing any kind of help, i have found one post that he claims he/she/it is in reciept of MRC, i wonder just how much more of the tax payers money goes into he/she/its bank account each month.? Oh and the BB he/she/it claims to also have.

Looks like the person and its posts have been removed.
