This morning, I woke up with a heart attack, sat up in bed, and gave two enormous burps, which stopped the heart attack. So, there you have it: burping is a great cure for heart attacks and hypochondria, one or the other. :o

There is a malady called 'Saturday Night Palsy'.

Imagine you return home from a night imbibing. You sit in a dining chair with your arm draped over the back as you enjoy a night cap in front of MoTD. You fall asleep.

Unfortunately, the nerves that command your arm and hand run through your armpit. By sitting like that you are causing an inflammation that deadens the nerves.

You awake at 3am. You're drunk, you have a headache and your arm is not responding to your attempts to move it. You spot a conclusion and leap for it: you've had a stroke and need immediate hospitalization.

Unfortunately, instead of a miracle cure and sympathy you discover that time is the only cure (that you have an important client meeting on Monday is immaterial).

You been there Gen? I went there once, about 15 years ago, and found it pretty soulless. Only memorable thing was walking up the grass roof of the new Parliament.

Although I say that, there was one other memorable occasion. The Hotel I stayed in also had a wing which was a Hostel, and that's where the Laundry facilities were. One afternoon I went to do my washing, nobody there, so went off to come back an hour later to tumble dry. To my amazement it was full of long legged, blue eyes, blonde Scandinavian girls wearing only knickers and bras doing their ironing  They had also removed my washing and I couldn't find it ;)Luckily one kind girl pointed out where they'd put them and helped me load the dryer:D I felt like a bit part actor in a porno movie :rotfl:

I don't know Margate at all, but this seems pretty good value - 5 beds, modern, for under £120k. What's the problem?

Its a repo and access to bedroom 5 is through a loft hatch and double yellow lines outside.

Was just looking at a similar property locally on Rightmove reduced to 675k...I suspect even if th eland was free you would struggle to build a 5 bed for 120k!
    I think....
