Sorry to quote my own post. But where else in the SE could you get an 8 bedroom house for under £250,000.

Sensible to choose based on RL rather than how near NPs. More importantly how near home will he be?
Not very near at all really, one choice is past the other side of London, the other is way down south. By car, we are probably talk 2-3 hours (depending on traffic) to his main choice and 3-4 hours for his insurance choice....for both, we would need to use the dreaded M25 and all that entails.
The two closest choice (Herts and Norwich) are by the wayside, Herts because they changed the course and it wasn't what he was looking for and Norwich because they didn't want him.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Went to this last night:
http://www.thsh.co.uk/event/cbso-tun...ars-enigma-13/Elgar didn’t call them the “Enigma” variations for nothing! In this special Tuned In concert, renowned presenter Paul Rissmann shares Elgar’s affectionate portraits of his friends and helps you attempt to crack the intriguing Enigma of one of the best-loved pieces in all British music, as well as whisking you off on the composer’s sunny Mediterranean jaunt.
He’ll guide you through the stories behind the music using a whole host of images, and unlock the musical building blocks that Elgar uses to create his caricatures – all assisted live on stage by conductor Michael Seal and the whole Orchestra. What better way to set the scene for a full performance of these gloriously enjoyable and very British masterpieces?
.
Was very impressed with Paul Rissman highlighting so much about the music, the composition, the interaction between different parts of the orchestra. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
PS mist this morning here was very thick. Saw a horrendous looking road accident on the way here this morning. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0

Yes, it was very misty this morning, and it's really wet and gloomy now. Visibility is around 2 miles. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

An email suggests our issue of concern today has gone as well as could be hoped with findings at the positive end of the possible range so thank you all for your thoughts.
I am pleased for you all Micheals.
Email reassurance to speed up the reciept of good news and the concern of pixel friends. Just another time when it crosses my mind that there must be grounds to beattify/canonise (can't think of the word) anyway I mean make into a saint ......Tim Berners-Lee.0 -

trying to get some of the puffiness out of my eyes.
I have been on a course this week during which the assessment includes role plays...and have had a filthy cold all week. A lot of sneezing and watery eyes. My bag has been full of packs of tissues and I have been trying to tend to my nose and eyes in as discreet and non disruptive way as possible.
Yesterday I was not entirely sucessful as at one point I slipped my hand into my bag, retrieved a wadge of tises and dabbed my eyes with...a handful of mint teabags. Made my eyes sting and run more and had been observed by the assessor. I did explain it was a mistake...he had thought 'teabag eye wiping' was an alternative remedy I was trying.0 -

Ah, I'd missed the good news from Michaels, as it was tucked away after something else less momentous. Fantastic! I'm so pleased for the Michaels family. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
