Not much to report here....James has decided on which uni he is going to accept and his insurance offer and none are Herts. Youngest is in stress out mode as they have tabled one of his mocks at the other site to where he is used to, middle son is just diddling along.
I had to babysit my niece yesterday, mum was laughing at my no nonsense approach to feeding, she said I was strict!
The car has received a mini reprieve as lover managed to fix one of the bigger issues, fingers crossed it keeps going for just a little longer. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
An email suggests our issue of concern today has gone as well as could be hoped with findings at the positive end of the possible range so thank you all for your thoughts.
Very good news!:jlostinrates wrote: »I am going to save PN a big fat posh alert but dh has landed and is coming home, to the front door, for about forty percent more than the train tickets and a whole damn site quicker. He expects to be here by 2 and was leaving it as a surprise that he organised on the plane while it was delayed, but then realised I would lock up from inside and he'd have to go and sit in with the chickens and geese till morning.
So, we get ( most) of the night together and we can wake up together..
Pleased for you.:jfc123 wrote:Poor MIL she loves her FB as it is like sitting in a cafe 24/7 seeing what everyones doing (she's 68) but she clicked on a face cream ad £2.99 per pot. She didn't read the small print.
Good to see you back. There have been threads about this on MSE somewhere, apparently it is difficult to get the whole thing cancelled.SingleSue wrote:Not much to report here....James has decided on which uni he is going to accept and his insurance offer and none are Herts.
Sensible to choose based on RL rather than how near NPs. More importantly how near home will he be?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. She did manage to contact them and they offerred to reduce it to £56 per pot. She is on a low income and is devastated at being caught out. Worse the cream is just some basic stuff as well.

We are buying a house in Margate......and I feel a bit of a traitor now to this board (not this thread) as ssshhh it's a second home / pension fund
My p and m are sharp as tacks and I got them computers and sorted out with internet. I trust them to buy things online but I'm always worried that one of these scams will suck them in. How come there isn't some kind of scambuster site where you can check the details of ads and reead reviews about how reliable /legit/dogy these companies are?
Like Margate btw. I mentioned it in an earlier post but not by name. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I'm confused by all this talk of mist in London. What mist?

It's misty here this morning too. And grey, but still eerily pretty.
I am going to lunch in a couple of hours and trying to get some of the puffiness out of my eyes.0 -

I'm not sure there's a great deal to like in Margate, apart from the Turner Contemporary. It's got a reputation of being a bit of a crime ridden dump, with unemployment around 20% However, property is cheap, with some of the best rental yields you'll get in the SE. So FC has probably made a very good choice.0 -
