Can anyone advise on my jiggle balls?

The answer to that appears to be no, I'm afraid!

This is one for scientists... but my guess is no. Mist has a weight to it that doesn't shift without a wind... so once decended it'll hang around for ages.

On the other hand, what do I know!

I would have thought no - as it is cooler so the mist will get more dense.

But its a long time since I did that kind of science so that could be complete nonsense :)

Also congrats from me to Mrs Generali - what a great opportunity. Extra well done for having the courage to seize the opportunities put in front of her... such as keeping in touch with that person as a mentor, and having the nerve to ask for exactly what she wanted. Fabulous!

If I had a job I'd like it to be: 25 flexible hours/week, from home, at a rate of £25/hour, with clear objectives set out and the tools/resources to achieve that. And no ridiculous wasting of time producing irrelevant reports that nobody ever needs/uses but make management feel like managers. Oh - and school holidays off, for the cherry on the cake.

If going out in public perhaps something that can be switched on and off remotely might be the answer? The control looks very like the one for our garage or that is what the DW claims is on the key ring....

    I think....

Uni lecturer pays more than that for similar hours over here. It's $100/hr (about £65). 10 hours work would pay a little more than your 25. It's not from home though.

Is that $100/hr of work (including preparation etc) or £100/hr actually lecturing in front of the students?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

The NP may like to know that DS's hair has finally got back to the point where he felt it was too long and wanted it cut again. I did it with the clippers and managed not to get on an accidentally too short setting, and he is happy with the result. Both of us were rather nervous about it while I was doing it, though. (Why isn't there a mopping brow "phew" sort of smiley??)

A friend was going to a family funeral and ran the clippers over his hair to tidy it up. He changed the length of the blade and tidied up his neckline.

As he was dressing he spotted a longer bit sticking up on top. Picked up the clippers again....and mowed a 'bald' stripe front to back:eek:.

Had to shave off the rest of it. His partner was livid. In a dark suit with a skin close shave he looked like thug.
