    Grrrrrrr

Dh is on his way home tonight, but he looked up train times from wrong airport when booking tickets. He had tomorrow off. I want to go and get him from inconvenient airport but we both think its not the be idea ( I am quite tired, and if I go in our car then it will be slow, or I could go in parent's car, but then dh cannot share the driving on the way back.

I cannot find any trains that work though. :(.

Edit.....think I found one. Not where we would normally think of, and very tight for time at first change. Please, please let everything be fast at the airport.

Fuming with Sky on behalf of parent.

Letter arrives that she has gone over the 2MB broadband limit for lite, so they are automatically moving her to a higher package at an extra £7.50 a month.

Now all she does is download a handful of emails and do an online grocery shop. But when the family arrive we automatically use the internet.

Phone up Sky and it turns out that her usage last month was 2.17 MB, so for a measly 0.17 MB they are insisting that she pays more. Next month is she is under the limit, she can phone them back to move back down.

I'm banned from going down the disconnecting route for her. :(

I was just up dating. I have found one. It is tight, gives him forty mins to get off, through passport control and pick up a hold luggage. It comes to a town about forty, fifty minutes away at most i think at about one am. Never been to train station there but stations are usually easy to find and well signed.

    It all depends on time.

Alternatively there is the option to bolt like hell to see if he can get into London for last train out to nearer, ( gets in same time, but requires more changing from the airport/ London bits). Might be possible.

Otherwise he'll have to stay in town. If he does it will be the first time we have 'failed' but we cannot risk other drivers....when I am tired and at night I am scared the medication will not control my vision. ATM I have been told. Can keep my licence, but if that changes I will obviously do 'the right thing'. I don't want to push things too far, too selfishly.

Dh is insured to drive our car ( actually its his car) but not parent's. parent's is faster, more reliable and has sat nav. But I can take the dogs in ours. I haven't decided which yet. Google says that the town is just over fifty mins away. That's not bad. Better than gatwick!

Edit...do you have to have licence on you to drive in uk?

I see that you are all having great fun among yourselves and the washing of undergarments was so funny. And lir you are working to a tight schedule but Good Luck...

This morning my OH had a meeting at her Church from 10am to 1pm so it was a late lunch today. I planned that seeing that it was raining this morning I would attempt to clean the bird poo from the roof of the Conservatory, you see our lovelty neighbours tend to feed the 'gulls twice a day and we all know that 'gulls do not have any manners as to where they do it, so there I was on top of my steps with this long brush cleaning away when the mobile rang, it was the EA asking if he could book a viewing to which I replied certainly when for - he said about fifteen minutes to which i said OK.

Well you have never seen an Old Codger move as fast to prepair for the viewing, it is great fun to look back upon but I'm getting used to it now and tomorrow morning we have another viewing that was booked on Monday, this time my OH will be home to help.:)

I was suggesting he hire car from airport to drop off in local town tomorrow should be about 40-50 quid and you don't have to leave home and he doesn't have to muck about with trains. You can sort it on internet for reduced price while he is in air.
    I think....
