    I've been Money Tipped!
I am going to save PN a big fat posh alert but dh has landed and is coming home, to the front door, for about forty percent more than the train tickets and a whole damn site quicker. He expects to be here by 2 and was leaving it as a surprise that he organised on the plane while it was delayed, but then realised I would lock up from inside and he'd have to go and sit in with the chickens and geese till morning.

So, we get ( most) of the night together and we can wake up together. :).

I'm really pleased for you as it seems you were a bit upset to be unexpectedly alone.

An email suggests our issue of concern today has gone as well as could be hoped with findings at the positive end of the possible range so thank you all for your thoughts.

:o I probably shouldn't tell you how much I just spent on skincare that arrived today...It's elemis as well.

But it does last 6 months so it's MSE as I use less of it? :p
Poor MIL she loves her FB as it is like sitting in a cafe 24/7 seeing what everyones doing (she's 68) but she clicked on a face cream ad £2.99 per pot. Bought 2 then it turned out it was one of the rip-offs where the debit your card 14 days later £90 per pot if you don't return it.

She didn't read the small print.

She did manage to contact them and they offerred to reduce it to £56 per pot. She is on a low income and is devastated at being caught out. Worse the cream is just some basic stuff as well.

I met a lovely NP two weeks ago :D

I have some rather nice news. The boy and I have been selected to be trade body experts at a very big show that deals very specifically with two things that we do later in the month. Members of the public can book a free 15 minute slot with us. :)

    Excited, much!

Exciting ..you may pick up tons of work from it too.:)

This is one for scientists... but my guess is no. Mist has a weight to it that doesn't shift without a wind... so once decended it'll hang around for ages.

On the other hand, what do I know!
There's websites that compare clouds to elephants e.g small white puffy cloud = 100 elephants etc.

Lir, glad fir is back safely with you (and not in henhouse)!

Nice to see you again. Looking forward to your news tomorrow. Do tell all about the Margate house please. :D

It's interesting how NP house buying goes in batches. Dave and lir and I were all looking about the same time, and then we've had quite a long gap, and now we've got loads of people all looking or buying or selling or something.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Hi fc (waves)....

As you are around at the moment, I think you have mentioned the book 'The Long Tail' by Chris Anderson. I saw his new book 'Makers, the New Industrial Revolution' and thought of you and wondered whether you had seen it.
