I am going to save PN a big fat posh alert but dh has landed and is coming home, to the front door, for about forty percent more than the train tickets and a whole damn site quicker. He expects to be here by 2 and was leaving it as a surprise that he organised on the plane while it was delayed, but then realised I would lock up from inside and he'd have to go and sit in with the chickens and geese till morning.
So, we get ( most) of the night together and we can wake up together..

I'm really pleased for you as it seems you were a bit upset to be unexpectedly alone.
An email suggests our issue of concern today has gone as well as could be hoped with findings at the positive end of the possible range so thank you all for your thoughts.I think....0 -
Hope everyone is well...I kept seeing Dooz trying to catch up on the thread too...I managed 50% since I last came and kind of feel up to date now (somewhat).
I probably shouldn't tell you how much I just spent on skincare that arrived today...It's elemis as well.
But it does last 6 months so it's MSE as I use less of it?
She didn't read the small print.
She did manage to contact them and they offerred to reduce it to £56 per pot. She is on a low income and is devastated at being caught out. Worse the cream is just some basic stuff as well.Doozergirl wrote: »Have fun!
I met a lovely NP two weeks ago
I have some rather nice news. The boy and I have been selected to be trade body experts at a very big show that deals very specifically with two things that we do later in the month. Members of the public can book a free 15 minute slot with us.
Excited, much!
Exciting ..you may pick up tons of work from it too.:)lostinrates wrote: »I am going to save PN a big fat posh alert but dh has landed and is coming home, to the front door, for about forty percent more than the train tickets and a whole damn site quicker. We have had sporadic BT line @ home recently for various reasons so no internet sometimes.....during the times I would log on too.
Lots of news, will save for tomo.:)
We are buying a house in Margate......and I feel a bit of a traitor now to this board (not this thread) as ssshhh it's a second home / pension fund0 -

And FC......so good to see you here!0 -

Nice to see you again. Looking forward to your news tomorrow. Do tell all about the Margate house please.
It's interesting how NP house buying goes in batches. Dave and lir and I were all looking about the same time, and then we've had quite a long gap, and now we've got loads of people all looking or buying or selling or something.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Hi fc (waves)....
As you are around at the moment, I think you have mentioned the book 'The Long Tail' by Chris Anderson. I saw his new book 'Makers, the New Industrial Revolution' and thought of you and wondered whether you had seen it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
