I know I said I wasn't going to play the "going out to work each day" game.... yet here I am, again, playing it.

DW only has to be looked at sideways by a man to get pregnant so last night it was a little concerning that the only Durex I could find were dated best before Oct 2006 :eek:....but by that time it was to late to change our minds or nip out to the corner shop :o

Too much information? I think I should have stuck to PN's dad's advice " "

I think that the TMI is that we now know you are the kind of man who reads the "best before date" whilst in the throws of passion.

Feeling very sorry for Mrs Micheals.

Tbh, I think it's worth getting out so you don't get stir crazy, but I would do it on your own schedule. Maybe your new job could be a two and a half days a week thing with work from home if anyone asks? :D

I cheated last night and put the horses on some fresh grass, which means no barn to do this morning, or tomorrow probably (though I will clear the field tomorrow of poop) and so chickens, geese, horse feeds, dog breakfast and walk etc are all done, plus I still feel well enough to have done fifteen mins of very poor stretching and exercise.....

Feeling well is just so amazing :j :j

right, i was feeling miserable reading the relationships board :(

I think it's a seriously dangerous Forum, with people dishing out opinions they think is advice. It's OK if you want a 'shoulder to cry on' but nothing more. There ought to be a health warning posted there!

    You seem to have forgotten:

    "Sports" exhaust
    Digital dump valve sound replicator
    Go-fasta bodykit / stripes
    Chipped engine
    Massive alloys
    Under-chassis blue LED downlighting

You can have mine when nibbletoes arrives. I don't have the led lights but it does have four doors.

I'm planning my own early mid-life crisis. I want a two seater. Not entirely Practical with two kids, two dogs nut on the other hand, it might cut down my share of the responsibilities :)

ATM we are talking about another defender. We're going to book in a test drive on a new one to see if driving a new brick to London for the evening is more feasible than driving an old one the same journey regularly. My series three and I used to do a daily commute of over a hundred miles each way, for about four/five months I think. I remember being dog tired the whole time...

Driving 200 miles daily commute, then start work? Simply shattering. Definitely not a good life-style choice, but if you have to, I suppose you could. I take my hat off to you for managing it for several months. People do that sort of distance by train all the time, but that's obviously not as tiring.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Last week was The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, since yesterday it's Youth and Young Manhood by Kings of Leon :)

Edit: I was very much enjoying Lauryn Hill so she got a bonus day (lucky her!)

I love that Lauren Hill album! Have been thinking of it recently as well! I think mine is in the inlaws garage.

I'm confused by the 2006....were you being very MSE and got a good deal on bulk buy?

It's certainly an eye-opener and actually quite worrying when some of the OPs are obviously unable to think straight in the first place.

PS whoever mentioned chaning passwords on Evernote, thanks - I tend to go offline for a few days and had missed that one.

I have always gone for convertibles when at all possible. There are loads of reasonably family friendly, reasonably nippy, four-seater convertibles around. What's wrong with a mini convertible, say? (Apart from the price.)

It was jus over a hundred miles each way.....so not 200 miles first, but a hundred either side. In a car that found fifty a push :o. I was at uni and had a job, then a personal responsibility changed forcing the commute till the end of that academic year at which point I made it so the disparate areas were closer geographically.
