Can we all vote for you by proxy?

What about the actual j-o-b PN - will you be able to stick it?

She should have taken the nice builders to the meeting to act as new members and vote too, just for a bit of a boost :)

Some idiot voted me chairperson of the PTA. No one volunteered. We organised a Quiz Night this Saturday; my first event. The upshot was that we raised £454 and I got utterly plastered out of nerves and relief. Thankfully there is a team of nice people around me, I didn't lose any of the money and some of them were plastered too.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:those dogs watching telly dogs made me laugh so much.
In other animal news Ginger survived a trip to the vets today as he has a bad ear. Claw from fighting lodged in it.

Oh did the honours this morning and we have been told he also needs his teeth cleaning @ £210. Having owned moggies for many years never heard this one before. What's the verdict here NP's.....does he really need his teeth cleaning or is a new way to squeeze a few ££££ out of us?

Funnily enough we thought he same....but the daughter lives in the US and was visiting for her 93rd party on the Sunday, she then died on the Tuesday and the estate agent was all sorted by the Thursday....though it's not on RM yet.
They have left all her posessions in it too so I guess that will be sorted out when it actually sells.

Hmm - Almost sounds like there might be a bad taste joke about inheritance and party poeppers/ballons bursting....
    I think....

If they look like this afterwards, it's well worth it

Oooh, how exciting! So many NPs with new jobs at the moment. We need to know more now you've let that little snippet slip kabayiri. Incidentally, I've always wondered how you got your username. I think you may have mentioned this in passing before, but I have a memory like Dory.

I'm always wary of saying too much, because I usually have to sign a stack of confidentiality forms. I guess it's understandable; nowadays one can access a lot of sensitive customer data with relative ease.

Basically the work involves making sure the new computer based work flow system integrates into the telephony platform. It's something I've done before but there are enough differences to make each installation a different challenge.

    ( I didn't promise my explanation wouldn't be dull ;) )

Yes, I liked the doggies watching other doggies on TV too :)

If things don't go to plan job-wise, I'm going to set up as a cat dentist. How much ?!

I seem to recall reading that dogs can't see television pictures; which doesn't make sense - there is too much anecdotal evidence of dogs responding to things which are on.

:rotfl::rotfl: Our intern said her Granny has a special cat toothbrush and toothpaste....mmmm maybe give that a try 1st. To be honest I don't fancy having to get him imto :rotfl:his basket (he gets really traumatised) and subjecting him to an aneasthetic for something that isn't lifesaving.

I compartmentalise my time between library, other work, leisure and stuff around the house. Generally it works out fine.

    That is an achievement!

Both my cats got to 18 without having their teeth brushed. I'd never heard the suggestion that cats needed dental hygienists until just now.

Is there a cat equivalent of doggy dentisticks, maybe?
