she gave it to me! at least that's what i've been telling her - she is protesting innocence on the basis that she doesn't have a cold.

She's using exactly the same argument on you that politicians use when they say, "if you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear".

She may well protest her innocence in the face of such terrible evidence but what comes tomorrow? Compulsory ID cards to use the toilet? Detention without trial? Ethnic cleansing? It's a slippery slope and no mistake old fruit.

Go away, make yourself a Nespresso and think about that one chewy.

    .

I dunno about the cutest, he has an uber cute sister I would have got instead if we could have had a girl. :D. Also, for cute you should see greyhound puppies, they are the opposite of their adult selfs, fat and squidgey.

He is coming home at the beginning of next month.

Before westie came home, we heard several stories of puppies whining and crying all night on their first night away from mum...
Anyway, we picked up westie and all the way back in the car, he slept. Then we came home, he did a little exploration of the house, went to his crate and slept all night. :) Not a single squeak.

Mum is not very interested at all, but a bunch of warm siblings who nuzzle and snuggle will be hard to leave. Especially coming to a home where ATM big dogs head is bigger than curly dog. :o. My hope is big dog, who likes babies and small dogs, might adopt him ( she is being nuetered that week, my mother wonders if she might think she had a Caesar ...where has the roll eye smiley gone?:D). So that's plan a. Dog dog is going to be insanely jealous....and the cats will be cross. Dog dog not very maternal, so doubt she will mother him. All will be fine....eventually :)

She's in some induction meeting about health and safety at the moment.
Earlier today, it was more interesting when it was explained where the loo is, how the coffee machine works and where you can go for a fag break.
Then she had her photo taken for an entry pass.

    Or something like that :)

Looking forward to read her report on the first day at work (if she has the energy to come online :))

Hope it all went well, PN. By now you'll know the fire exits and handed your car details to the gate attendancts. And if it was Richer Sounds, (bet you it isn't) you'd have been given a brochure of the boss's holiday home you're entitled to use as a perk.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
