One really good thing is it's economical and it can do a 430-mile journey in just over a tank of petrol.:beer:0

I meant probably more McD's and Stella. If it were added in a way that provided a cumulative effect, then ongoing, that'd work so even posh people could go to McD's 1-2x a year if they really insisted on it.
McD's is an 'I am on my way home from work at 5am and can't be arsed to cook' food (I'll be going in a minute).
Also a very good cabbies food.

PasturesNew wrote: »Depends how big the tank is .... mine does more than that - can't remember how much as I've not been monitoring it, but 600 or so I think. When I fill it up, it thinks it'll do 800, but I know it's lying.
I filled mine up yesterday having just come off the North Circular (so about 60mph constant), and it reckoned that there was about 1100 miles in there.
If a tank of diesel really did do a week, I wouldn't be moaning (I've got a 70l tank, for anyone that's interested)

I would say, I'll only have to do this 2-3x tops this week..... next week I'll not be bothering to straighten it and can wash it in the morning and it'll dry with the car window open and the blowers on
I'm dead common like that.lostinrates wrote: »Mine has just been wash ed. it will still be damo in the morning. If I washed it in the morning it would still be damp in the afternoon.
I love my hair, but getting ready for special events is annoying as it then obviously gets styled from wet before hand, which means I need the afternoon to get hair ready, takes hours to diffuse dry.
I made the assumption that 20 minutes with a hair dryer on freshly washed hair can do all that is needed!

OHs birthday today, managed to get him some clothes from Next - feeling I've been really unimaginative. He has work things that will mean he is out tomorrow and weds night, so doesn't feel like he needs to go out tonight. Sad when it happens, but that really is the way to go.fc123 wrote:Shocking guide price on it though...I thought there was a crash....and it's a 'modernisation/quick sale price too.

Oh no, twenty mins would barely have mine started. Has to be diffussed on low, best to do it small areas at a time but I never bothe now I am not trying to get it into an Afro. My hair pulled straight is just below my elbows but if I blow dried it ' properly' it can bounce up to shoulder length. Leaving to dry naturally for a less tight p curl it is ( I think) just about bra strap length ATM.
The other thing with curly hair is the crucial post shower minutes wher you need to get product on super quick before it has time frizz ( I think of it as sealing it from the impact of air:o
Temptation for 'special' events is to put too much product on to prevent frizz but instead makes hair look like greasy hair badly permed..
