Must have been a while back, I can't remember the last time I used a key to unlock a car....
...then again I can't remember the last time I used a key to unlock the house door as we just push the blipper to open the garage
Yes this was quite awhile back and coach locks could give problems at times, we had to usually climb into the back door to gain entry or a side door so we had more than once choice as the front was usually locked and bolted from the inside.0 -
Well, having talked about the best weather forecasting site it is now snowing here. None of them forecasted it, though netweather does forcast snow here early tonight. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I have given up looking ATM. None of them are proving that accurate. Michaels got the weather prediction right...but just a few minutes before!:D
I am driving tonight but have opted for main road routes in my time planning.
Everyone is a bit cold and miserable. As I type I have one cat sitting on my right shoulder and boob, the other on my left thight and wrist. They are acting like clothing because they are cold themselves, so I am going to put the electric blanket on for them. It's not colder today, in fact, the thaw is significant, but the moisture released in these thaws makes everything feel so much colder.0 -
I am going to see my parents this afternoon, fortunately only a few miles away and on good roads so should be ok getting there/back. It is my nephew's birthday, hopefully he will like the weapons grade lightsabre!
Forgot to mention had a bit of a result yesterday. Bought an Edina Ronay handbag in the clearance section at TK Maxx. Down from £175 to £11. It's the same as this one:

Will probably give as a gift to my cousin who will love it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have some grey and purple boot shoes that would look good with that. Also tk max. Unfortunately they cripple me. Let alone walking in them, just putting my feet in them makes them hurt and cramp.
I am looking right now at my half foot plat form heels thinking I used to dance all night on those stilts, how can a simple heel that's not even impossibly high make my feet hurt so terribly much?0 -
Don't you just feel sorry for Traffic Warden's when they find an 'object' parked on double lines and they cannot put a 'parking ticket' on it.
Even more embarrasing when it is just metres away from your Headquarters...:(

Ummm - the piece suggests it can not be moved as it is not causing an obstruction...in that case why are there yellow lines painted on the road there?I think....0 -

I think that in Edinburgh the Council look upon the motorist as easy prey to make money, as Edinburgh drivers will no doubt testify. There are yellow lines in the city everywhere and there are Traffic Warden's equipped with their armory of weaponry just waiting for you to 'make their day'
There is a hotel on Bread Street that has an unloading bay outside of its doorway to allow parking for vehicles to unload and this bay is set back so as not to obstruct the flow of traffic. The double yellow lines are painted within the bay, (some say it is illegal as it is a bay and part of the hotels ground) every time that I stopped there to unload the coach I got booked. The wardens said that I had to park about 300m away and let everyone walk with their luggage across a busy bus route.
So you may gather that I am not sympathetic with their problem.:)0 -

I don't know, but if blue badge users can park on double yellows then the obstruction might sometimes be considered a little exaggerated? (parent who doesn't live with me has a blue badge and parks on double yellows outside their home)0 -

Blue badge users are among the most considerate drivers on the road in my experience and their vehicles are not usually very large as to cause a dangerous obstruction.
Your parent probably has no option open but to park outside the property so manytimes cases are exaggerated but that can be expected of some characters that are around these days can't please everyone.0
