Well make sure you share it around to the senior management PN :)

No snow here either - I was hoping there would be advice against travelling but it currently looks like it will be a non-event here with less snow than on Monday - so much for my plan to work at home today :(
    I think....

Sounds a decent collection. OH often comes home with started bottles of wine. He also gets given bottles of posh looking olive oil. (I guess grape farmers also grow olives.) He also has a pair of pyjamas with "first" detail from when he got upgraded once.
(Did I once say he works in the wine industry?)

    I sis not know that.

With reference to the wine tasteing course I may or may not do.....does he know which to recommend?

    Morning NPs. No snow here.
Saw something on the telly the other day where Obama made a speech saying that since that school shooting in Connecticut there have been 900 more gun deaths in America. Going to start wondering, at that rate, who’s going to be left standing?

    Wish me luck!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh I don't know, if you're going to prang a car then better that it's someone else's. :)

Dh has arrived home twenty four bottles of tobasco sauce, a yoga mat, two pairs of clients brand flip flops and half a dozen tshirts....same brand. I asked hi. What we are going to do with them and he is just thrilled it was all free.

I agree this is cute, but ... also want to wish you good luck getting rid of most of it.

I'm still juggling and putting the effort in...had a moan at youngest's parent evening tonight to a school governer. He still is not receiving the support as per his statement, he is still struggling and withdrawing but all the teachers could say was that he was no trouble as he was so quiet! Yeah, he is quiet because he is withdrawing and they should do something when it happens...something mentioned on the blooming statement if they bothered to read it!

He had a meltdown yesterday morning before school, we ended up arriving at school late because of it but because he is not being dispruptive in the class, then apparently he is ok....well if they continue to ignore it, he will become disruptive at the slightest attempt of human contact by a teacher and by then, it will be too late and they will never get his trust back.

Apart from that, he is an across the board C grade student, ok, I have to be pleased with that as he was never supposed to be in main stream high school doing GCSEs but on the other hand, he is far more intelligent than that (the teachers do admit that he is brighter than his grades show but can't quite understand why) and would be doing better in a different, more supportive to his needs, setup.

    Arrggghhhhhh!

On better news, James has been offered an interview at his first choice university.

 Did you feel they took any notice of what you said to them last night?

We have some snow and it is still falling, although not very heavily. DD's primary school has texted all the parents to confirm that the school is open. DS's secondary school is closed for lessons but still running exams for those taking them. My school is open but I'm only timetabled to be in for part of the afternoon. I usually go in for longer to get work done, but have a nasty cold (sympathy to PN) so am staying at home (with lots of mock GCSE marking) until later. Next door have some kids at DS's school and their younger one at a different primary school that's also closed, so DD will be the only one from our street going to school today. I don't think she'll be happy about it.

ETA DD's school has just changed its mind and is now closed.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

The exact reason I've nicked a '59' fleet vehicle that's just been decommissioned for running about. The manual gearbox, higher driving position and front wheel drive being the other reasons!

I feel that this may have no gearbox when I'm done with it
