In the last area that I lived many people had the 4x4 cars and mine is a little Mazda 2 which looked so tiny against theirs in the car park, I had a sign on my car that read 'I'm going to be a Hummer H1 when I grow up'

It certainly brought a smile to their faces.

Have you used it? Will it dislodge if you put the Sharp end in something firm like an apple ( self protection) and pull the stuck end with a rubber glove? ( rubber better than medical latex for this purpose....)

Do you know the make/ model (do they have models?) - we could look for pictures which might help us make suggestions?

On less serious matters - I'd never realised that must be where 'mayday' came from.

My first car was a red 1.1 mini metro. I hated it until the exhaust rusted through and made it sound like a sports car. Then dad put a new exhaust on it. !!!!!!.

After that I had a burgandy skoda Octavia which I inherited from my uncle. I later swapped that for my mum's silver Peugeot 306, which was later stolen.

The first car I bought is a grey Mini Cooper S JCW which is still in the garage. I wish someone would steal it, or buy it for about £5k more than it is worth.

Hiya lir.... miss you too :A

I'm well and hope you are too. It's good to see you are still a regular.

I sometimes feel guilty that I don't visit more often but I used to spend so much time and life became much more demanding.

Am just cooking dinner atm (a late one again!). I wanted to see what people were saying about the flat rate pension plans and of course no visit would be complete without calling in on the Nice People :D
