    Poor Miss K.

Sorry MsK - wasn't supposed to sound rude, I was just genuinely surprised as I expected you and DH to be on top of it.

    Cooling off period perhaps?

I suppose then they would make an astronomical charge for the service they have already provided.

I wandered off to the Old Style board.

One of the armageddon threads is worrying about snow this weekend and Vesuvius.

I have scurried back here to check out with NP if I should be doing anything?

I think we are safely out of range of Vesuvius, but I would definitely dig the 15 tog duvet out of the back of the cupboard. We've had a wet but pretty mild winter so far, but Jan/Feb are normally the coldest months. Once you have the duvet ready, you can bury your head under it, and you'll be safe even from Vesuvius.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Latest model run says snow mostly not settling on Saturday and snow probably settling on Monday/Tuesday. Plus ten potentially very cold after than (minus 10 sort of cold) (Viva and I follow the forum on netweather.tv)
    I think....

we don't have auto cover. for i've paid £200+ for one year personal breakdown and cover.

Got towed home and AA man has no idea about car. think it's the relay? :o But we are no experts and will decide when the calm hits what to do.

I am getting lift into work tomorrow and pub after work so will get train home. Next week will be interesting but I've had enough! Esp since I just finished a 12 hour day when it happened.

Try and let it go over your head tonight as much as possible as you can't do anything about it until tomorrow.

Most relays are tiddly little (cheap) boxes plugged into the fuse board. Hopefully it's one of those. Did the AA man really not try to diagnose it more?
