But it takes as long to drive there now, and goes fewer places. Southhampton is about same distance, have never been there, maybe worth trying to remember in the future.

Southampton is a fab little airport. So compact - sadly only short haul and mainly flybe. We use it whenever possible as an alternative to LHR or LGW. Mr S sometimes uses it to fly to CDG or Schipol as a hub, and our DD went Southampton, CDG , Singapore.
Having said that my sister flys Bristol, CDG, Mauritious - so it may be more people do not want the hours of trolling around at large airports.0 -

This was more as a first or low budget tablet that would still be up to speed for holidays, travelling and dropping without worrying too much.
Some of the new tech at CES looks like there is going to be no slow down in tech developments and design though China is miles ahead on products and price.
This probably means something totally different but I am now picturing SSS as something looking a bit like an old style bond villain, with over seven hundred screens around a room and a mastermind chair that he can swivel round on rather than move the screen.0 -

Last time I drove past ssss's place on the motorway I glanced over at the hollowed-out volcano where he said he lives. Obviously been a good year. They were just delivering his new monorail. :cool:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Hope it is an nice RAC/AA type service so that at worst you and car are carried home.
In my younger days when my little MG was my only car I never belonged to a breakdown service as I figured that they were not married to me so they would not respond to me as quickly as my husband would.0 -
