    Who is doing the rescuing?

Hope it is an nice RAC/AA type service so that at worst you and car are carried home.

In my younger days when my little MG was my only car I never belonged to a breakdown service as I figured that they were not married to me so they would not respond to me as quickly as my husband would.

This is also putting me off going anywhere. My car hasn't actually conked out yet, but it's only a matter of time. I hate that feeling of getting ina car to go a decent distance and not knowing whether you will home. Who will feed the cats/dogs, put the chooks away, take care of the horses.....drama drama.

    Villain, I said. Villain.

Villains have nice cuddly cats though. And more money. And if your are Daniel Craig you have to be tied naked to a chair with no seat and beaten from underneath.

I saw that in a cinema, last bond I saw.

Saw that movie. Don't fancy 007's job much!!!!:eek::eek:

    Dear Mr Michaels

    ...

I note your comments and would inform you that after investigation of the above Penalty Charge Notice, it would appear that that an error was made by the Civil Enforcement Officer.

    ....

    Yours sincerely

:)- Told ya 'It wasn't me'

I'm quite shocked at you MsK - I would have expected you to have RAC for next to nothing via topcashback or Tesco vouchers...(especially as you are always telling us how old your car is).

Ummmm.....what happens to the car doesn't start and you are on the side of an a road? I can be rescued just no idea if the car will start.
I'd sit and think about all the circuits and what I am experiencing, then raise the bonnet and whack the appropriate places with anything to hand.

I'd check battery connections aren't loose and that there's an earth wire attached... and see if I can see any stray/small wires anywhere.

Something might just work..... and I'd be on my way again.

Or auto aid. £38 per year for me and Mrs Zag for both cars. Pay the call-out send the invoice, get a refund within a fortnight. They've got very good reviews on other threads. Used them twice in 3 years so more than paid for itself.;)

Although to be fair they take an hour to get to me each time, so there's faster I suppose.
