Well, we are warm in the house, I am wearing a tshirt (and nothing else) this morning...mind you yesterday it was so mild I did the outsilde critters with a longsleeved t on. (and trousers and boots). So I will turn the thermostat down today (we have been trying to 'warm the fabric of the house' and I think it's fair to say that has been acheived.

But the bath water is lukewarm. I had a bath with alpine herb oil last night thinking it would help keep the man flu ( and that's all it was ) out of the way ( I am so far keeping it away, forst time in years my immune system is holding up helped by hygeine and augmented, whether useful or not, by lots of supplements). But the water was luke warm.

But our hot water tank is only at fifty fiv ( the minimum our sort of tank should be at, not enough to make any hot water demands of it, it should be much hotter than that. Ideal it should be at about seventy or even seventy five before we try risking a bath. There is one final adjustment we can make but we need the plumber to talk us through it over the phone. We will call him this morning and keep our fingers crossed.

I am really worried about Pastures. Has she tried to go west still? I am really worried for her.

She wouldn't let a few floods get in her way, but she may have got water in her internet connection.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I am starting to develop an altogether unhealthy interest in your hot water system.

Thank you. It's really getting bad down here, and down there it's frightful.

You should come and visit it. Bring your wife. We can explain away how we know each other.

Tbh, I have more confidence in the nice person collective fix than any thing else at this point:D

We have some pretzels left over from the party, so won't starve.
