I've used Plusnet for a few years and I rate them to be very good.

    I'm a happy user.

Re landlines, we have one. I use it but not too much ( long phone calls make my head hurt and my ears very bad, so I tend not to take anything in just keep saying yes and 'mmmm' in pauses.

We have to change our BT hand sets. Only two years and two of the four are knackered, plus......they don't reach across the whole house (whoch sounds rather posh, where is pastures, not trying to go west still I hope). We have found only onephone with a range that looks better, it's another BT one, and does one km outside (so should reach the yard and barns and fields, better for me).

Little curly hallelujah isn't well. We were at the vets this afternoon getting jabs of listed painkillers and antibiotics and the right sort of probiotic ( teach me not to get it in stock when a pet arrives) and I have been geting him to drink doggy electrolytes (which thank fully he likes). We also had to buy him a jumper. The big dogs are really worried about him but I think tomorrow should see a brighter and hungry puppy.

Sure he will not take a turn for the worse we have hat hot rum buttercups and our first 'festive' meal.

    Hope your puppy recovers soon.:)

I saw your other thread about new phones and I've gone for the Panasonic one. Used to own a Technics cassette deck (same company, well at that time anyway)

i'm 33 1/3 and ... don't have my real photo on my facebook account.

I do have my real photo on FB, but I have all my privacy settings locked down so nobody can see anything unless they're my friend, and I don't accept anybody as a friend unless I genuinely know them IRL. It's not possible to search for me, either.

Oh no. Poor little kiwi. Hope he's better soon. Give him extra cuddles from me. Please keep us posted as to how he does. (Still hoping to come and meet him some time.)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

You HAVE to come and meet him. But I didn't expect the heating saga to rumble on so. :(. They were here six days out of seven last week

We have a landline but would probably drop it if you could get internet without it. Pretty much only my mum calls me on it. We also use it (via over-ride services) for calling folks abroad.

I'm much the same, although on my mobile, I pay 10ppm abroad (ask for a £3.84+VAT/month package).

Skype still reckon that they work out cheaper, but I don't do it enough to make £3/day on internet charges cheaper!

Thanks to the auto correct on my iPhone, DD1 is expecting a visit from Satan this Christmas, so this may be another reason to use a landline!

Well kiwi seems to want to sleep with dog dog rather than me, sniff sniff, he loves her more. Not surprising, she is very lovable. In fact though, the choice is not her or me, it's me or the crate, so we will decide at the latest opportunity.

He downed a huge amount of electrolytes aout half an hour ago, and is seeming brighter, so he is likely to want to piddle a lot through the night, and if he is with us we will know he needs out, so that might well win.

Factoid of the Day: St Nick (the Devil) is supposedly named after Machiavelli.
