I am finally free of the ****** ***** ******* Fiat Punto! A car with 45k miles on the clock and only 10 years old, yet all it is fit for is the scrap dealer.

Thanks Michaels for the suggestion of using the fuel pump to get the petrol out. Not so easy on a Punto, but in the end I beat it.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Looks like Teddies for the chop

It makes no sense to be a prepper in the UK. If it comes to it, there isn't anywhere that the starving mobs from the cities won't find you and eat you.

Probably a hell of a lot more....my car would be worth at most about £150 now!

Remote central locking for a start and quite probably a lot less rust :rotfl:

If it runs it should be worth more. I was paid £150 scrap for the Punto, and they had to come and collect it. They also let me keep bits like the radio.

I will be looking after a 5 month old baby tomorrow morning....EEEEEEEKKKKKK! Sister in law has a chest infection so needs help and it appears, I am the suitable one to give that help by looking after my niece as I am so 'motherly' and 'she likes me'

Me motherly? Yeah right! I am def no mother earth, I just educate them to death! I can imagine the scene around Morrisons tomorrow morning while I get my weekend shopping, me discussing the various merits and calculations of one bag of potatoes to a baby....or of course, me making silly noises the whole way around and getting funny looks.

Oh well, no change there then!

Amazingly, my niece does seem to like me, goodness knows why though, my other young niece hides behind the door when I come into the room! Apparently, I am scary, mad Aunty Suzie.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

the job advert went out! :) job is worth £23k+ for anyone who knows of anyone who might be interested in a science tech job?

I'm advertising £25-32k + 10% pension for someone to type letters, stick entries into a database and do my filing. Bet I don't get a single decent applicant and end up having to employ someone @rsey who thinks typing is beyond them. Again.

Should have hammered a nail into the fuel tank like I suggested. Much easier.

I've had someone with a PhD expressing interest in a degree level job  (well, technically, they only need to have a BTEC)
