It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

LIR I think the fabric will look great in the summer, with all that colour.
Can't comment on its suitability, as I have no idea as to its surroundings or context.

Kiwi fruit with teeth is looking like a little dog now, not a kiwi fruit. He can say hallelujah but once he said 'I'm Wooller' which I desperately want to get him to say again so I can train it in...it was very clear..even if it was just noise to him.

He is going on his first ever walk tomorrow morning with big dog. Dog dog will be gutted to be left behind.

You cannot see in that pic, but this side of the alter there is a French window on the left and a double door on the right. And two small windows right at this end not quite opposite each other.
Looks lots messier tonight. And got more stuff in since that pic. Wish we could have kt it that bare....ideal IMO.:(

But I think the boiler is working......the rads are very cool and the temp is only eleven degrees I have had it to 16 with just an electric heater, ha, the heater in that pic! I turned on a four hundred watt work lamp to cook by (because my light shades are too dark) and that warmed me Up more.

For anyone who has got access to National Geographic channel. There's a special edition of Preppers on next week, looking at people preparing for meltdown. See:
    http://natgeotv.com/uk/preppers-uk-surviving-armageddon/videos/paranoid-or-mad

Reminds me of my favourite thread, though none of them have mentioned window licking (well not in the trailers anyway).

ETA: not next week, starts this Wednesday. Sorry...

Hi Viva. Looks like the Mail have tagged on.... surprise;)

Annie Durbin, pictured here with her with survival equipment, is believed to be one of Britain's only female 'preppers'

Looks like Teddies for the chop

If you visit the website that offers to buy your car (other websites are available) you'll soon realise how little cash value it has.

OTOH, it'll be worth a lot more than its cash value to somebody trying to get on the road that needs the cheapest pair of wheels they can get their hands on. Especially if they'r handy with tools and can look after it better than I can. That probably includes everybody in the world :D

Used to teach about Total Energy Costing and had to teach that it costs roughly the same amount of energy to rip the materials out of the ground and make the car in the first place as the car uses up as fuel in its working life.

My car is so old I have yet to find a place that would even give a basic quote!:rotfl:

I can't moan though, had her over 5 years now and she has been so reliable (firmly touching wood here) and hasn't cost an arm and a leg in repairs, unlike my previous newer, more gadgety, more expensive Audi A4....bloody white elephant that car. It was the most we had ever paid for a car (£3400 or something) but it was my second worse car for reliability and repair costs.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I was never any good at reverse parking and could never estimate if I could fit in a space. With the camera I can judge the distance properly and so now I do reverse park - after 20+ years of driving.

I do rely on it heavily and often freak out someone sitting in a car behind as I never look out of the rear window and do go close up to the car behind.

Never having been in a car with parking cameras I don't have a clue how they work, not sure I would trust them to be honest.

I can park any which way with no problems, even in the tiniest of spaces, something which used to really irk now ex hubby as he was absolutely pants at parking. :D

.... and the heated seats are the best bits IMO.

We have heated seats in the Volvo - they are really lovely. I bought the car secondhand, and I'd never have even dreamed of specc'ing up a new car with them.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
