You might be..... I've not got them, never had them and never will; they simply don't exist according to a dentist after an Xray 20 years ago when I happened to remark that most people by then had them coming through and he looked and said "you've not got any".

I reckon that the coffin-dodgers had better self-identify.
Maybe it's just me, davesnave and michaels; that's right just blokes really. Gen's kids sound young and I remember that michaels's are young maybe? so could just be me and davesnave, and GDB?
Painting myself into a bit of a corner here amen't I:rotfl:
Classic mistake of judging people's ages by the ages of their kids.
DS1 came home from secondary school once and told us he was the only one in the class who had both parents in their 30s, he commented that a few had parents older than his grandparents.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Wheezy was alarmed I was in the TOTP studio 40 years ago.
While you were in TOTP, I still had to start off my television career. My first big break came around 1973 (approx.) when our class was invited to attend a recording of 'Nonkel Bob en Tante Terry' (uncle Bob and aunt Terry), which was a wednesday afternoon filling kiddies program on Belgian state TV.
Uncle Bob played guitar, sang and did hand puppet theatre, auntie Terry read exciting stories out of big books.
My TV career didn't really take off after this.
PS : That's not me in the pic.0 -

Now .... in my mind, it'd be better to start a new person at, say, 10am, when the boss/team have got all the immediate morning questions/panics out of the way .... and are organised enough to receive a new person..... or, better, a short first week by starting Wednesday (say).
But no ... they always want a Monday.
This is pretty similar to my experience. Usually, I too want to start asap.
I'm terrible at taking annual leave, usually ost of it is in the last 3 months of the leave year. I have had more than 1 occasion where I have left one job on the friday, & gone to work at the new place monday, whilst still recieving 2 weeks holiday pay from the previous place! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Thank you. I feel like I am playing at being a grown up. Hopefully no-one is going to find me out
I always feel that way. I constantly feel like a 6 year old, bewildered & all this stuff going on around me...:oIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Not at all. Normal question to ask. Don't worry about it.0
