I reckon that the coffin-dodgers had better self-identify.
Maybe it's just me, davesnave and michaels; that's right just blokes really. Gen's kids sound young and I remember that michaels's are young maybe? so could just be me and davesnave, and GDB?
Painting myself into a bit of a corner here amen't I:rotfl:
How far outside 30 can one be a munchkin then? 31? 33? 35?0 -
There was some age thing last week.... I didn't take notes, but (of those whose ages were known/declared) I think I came in 3rd or 4th eldest..... and if we count everybody who's ever been a reg in this thread I'd slip a bit further down the list.0

Dh has been skyping with the baby and is officially smitten. He seems especially fond of the fact she hits her dad ( his brother).0

Cannot see links on macputer, but think one of the links below we're the ones I liked

Still cannot find the floor I saw in a magazine for the bathroom, it's starting to get to me now. I know I didn't imagine it.
Also, This is the potential floor for the Cheese room I saw earlier

I want to like the stoves, but I'm still very much into clean lines when it comes to permanent features. Some of them remind me of a 1930s public convenience, of which I am a fan (did you see the george clarke programme about small spaces and the public loo in Crystal Palace that is now a really lovely flat?) Others remind me of a 1980s loo, which is not so nice
The floor looks great, really, really great. I could really see that in place
We haven't made our house yet although I do appreciate we will probably never afford a Plain English kitchen. He wants glossy handle-less; he hasn't quite grasped that my vision of a long term house has no high gloss in it and does not have uPVC windows either. Natural materials only, I think! Everything I've ever compromised on is going to come back and haunt him, hence I want a fully itemised shopping list, down to the last screw.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

There are clean line ones if you google for white ceramic stoves or wood burners I think.
I am ATM going through a modern thing with woodburners. I know of two sided glass ones and am wondeing if a three faced one exists. For an ingle nook.0 -
Well I'm deffo older than PN and sc and spirit. Lir was an embryo when I was attending decent music concerts.
Wheezy was alarmed I was in the TOTP studio 40 years ago.
Unless GDB is older than me, (davesnave is, and JohnPeirpoint) I don't know who else is. fc sounds younger.
Purch I don't know for sure; johnny and stevie and hamish could be any age. Dear god, I might be the only person here with a fulll set of wisdom teeth!:D
Tbf, lir was attending music concerts as an embryo and playing in them just a couple of years afterwards so.....0 -

Pity. I would love to know what the rates rules are. Don't suppose you could be persuaded to share them elsewhere?I reckon that the coffin-dodgers had better self-identify.

If coffin-dodgers are defined as 40-50 then I'm one. I'm 43. I too am playing at being a grown-up.
Congrats to Nikkster.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

They are not awful, IMO, but some might find them so. ( tbc nothing racist or homophobic), just basically that a cultural similarity is a best fit.....so a common language greases many wheels, but other things can mean least grease is needed. They are also not complex, but we are more 'basic' when we discuss it.0
