As me n hubby will have to sleep apart the whole week.
Is this really a problem?? Don't you sleep with him the other 51 weeks a year?0 -

I would hate to sleep apart from my OH for a whole week and this would spoil my holiday to a degree.
If I had no other choice then obviously I would, but for the OP this is a special holiday and I see no reason why she should have to when she has booked on the basis of connecting rooms for the children.0 -

I was going to ask this too.
Also, isn't Jamaica an odd destination with such young children?Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

Doesn't mean I'm wrong.
I think your comments together with your attempted joke on your profile suggests that your judgement chip has gone walkabout!0 -

I think some of you are being a bit harsh with the OP. She has young children and obviously needs to be within earshot during the night in case they cry or need the toilet etc. At 3 and 5 they're not much more than babies and could be nervous in a strange room. Sleeping separately from her husband would be OK if that's what they planned when booking the holiday but it wasn't - they were lead to believe that they were "buying" joining rooms when booking the hol. Looks to me like the travel agent just said yes to the rooms requirement to sell the holiday and pocket the commission.
I don't see how the choice of destination affects this bedroom issue to be honest.0 -
You need to find out
How many connecting rooms does the hotel have?
Who allocates the rooms, is it the tour operator or the hotel?
Do TUI specifically buy rooms with connecting doors?
Do TUI specifically promote this hotel as infant family friendly?
Does your booking have the infants ages on it?
What do other tour operators do at this hotel? Do they offer connecting rooms?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
