Kaz.. KD is 'kids dad' I'm sure.. :D I got DD2 (15) some new rock type boots.. madfish ones as they are much cheaper and they are amazing.. I want them. I got her zebra patterned hair dryer, straighteners and curler too.. and stocking fillers of smellies and slap. DD3 is 12 on 19th Dec and not quite in the 'teen' stuff yet. She loves the karaoke machine she got year before last so I got her some more discs for that and some shoes and clothes and books.. I got her a cheapish mobile which she has been nagging for since she was about 5, she is at high school so it will be useful on occasions. I may just take her shopping for her birthday and get some 1-2-1 with her.. providing they aren't all buried in the garden by this time tomorrow, they have been sheets today the lot of them!.. mind you, when I did that with DD1 I ended up spending about £300!! (she was desperate for clothes at the time)

Shower shopping now too.. the heater can to mine has died and is an obsolete part so I need a new shower.. more quids!!!!

Morning all. This is my list for today, around the pain which is my back.

Have soak in bath to ease back
Spray on deep heat or similar
Change bedding (DD let dogs have free run of house yesterday and they slept on my bed, yuk!)
Vacuum living room using good arm only (gosh I sound pathetic today!)
    Walk doggies
    Do batch cooking
    Sort out monthly finances

Catch you all later. Have a good day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning all

My DS is ill so I'm off work today. My list is probably a bit optimistic but here goes.........

    Sunday's List

Ironing - try to do the whole basket
Hang up wet washing on airer
    Hoover downstairs rooms
Move cupboard from study into dining room
    Make fairycakes
    Hoover bedrooms
    Strip beds
    Wash and dry bedding
    Sort out moggies

I'll be happy if I do that list today :)

Lovely golden autumn day here, enjoy what you are doing everyone.

Good morning all, was up early this morning, so got a wash on and caravan duvets airing on the line.
DD was here with her friend yesterday making chocolates, so spent the afternoon supervising them. DD slept at her friends and I had a phonecall at 7:30 from her friends mum saying DD had been sick a few times in the night. Picked her up and she has been sick twice since coming home :-(

She is in bed now and I'm having a cuppa, will try and finish the lists in a bit, although I think I will leave Dd's room for a bit, I did get her washing and she cleared most of the floor before going out yesterday. I do need to clean a patch of her carpet though............cream carpet, why?!?!?!?

Hope all are well, hugs and spoons to those in need xx

    Morning all

    Pix you did great yesterday

It is quite great here at the moment so plan is to start at the table (yes it is still cluttering but cooking for lunchtime so it will be cleared!)

GI how is DD ? Tooch and Pix hope your kids are better soon - there is a load of illness around right now.

Time for a cuppa and a shower.

Hi all; sorry, I didn't get on here yesterday, so been skim-reading to catch up.

Welcome Pix and VALM and any other new Flyers I've missed.

Mr LW is just off to the farmers market for the "cheese run" (he'll also get posh butter and unpasteurised cream and free-range eggs while he's there), then we need to play catch-up with the tasks that should've been done yesterday and weren't.

I had to visit the audiologist yesterday and have an impression done for my new hearing aid, so felt pretty carp after that (I have a phobia about physical contact with people) so we didn't achieve much else.

No matter - back to normality (whatever that is) today.

Vanilla Lucky looks really cute - hopefully litter-tray training will be easy. I know nothing about cats/kittens (I'm a dog person) but she sounds like she's doing well already.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
