  • Aww thanks, fred's been at the door all day looking in at her.

    Still need to do
    1) get school uniforms washed and dried
    2) set fire up for tomorrow evening
    3) quick tidy up of the kitchen
    4) get clean clothes put away
    5) put coffee table out in shed
    6) empty all bins
    7) clear back hall of clutter
    8) sort clothes for tomorrow
    9) check banking
    10) get kids supper and away to bed

Ohhh I'm away to investigate Snow Fairy stuff!!!

ETA Cor - thats not cheap stuff

No it isn't but I would rather spend £50 and know the girls are happy than get cheapy stuff that makes their eczema flare or they don't like (I love Flying Fox .. and we all hate bath bombs!)

Vanilla.. she is very pretty and looks quite snug.

pickles and beastlets all away to bed..

    Potty 9
    Floor 3
    Chair 1...

She is getting the idea and isn't screaming blue murder every time she needs to wee now!

  • Good evening :D

Not a bad day. DH Took me to art & walked the dog. I even managed to get some paint on paper!! DH cleaned the kitchen while I was out :T 2 loads in WM, and all dried now. I will wash bedding & towels tomorrow. Food shop done (spent too much again :(). I have done a bit of studying, and put some inline skates for sale on 2 FB groups locally (well, it's a start!)

Tomorrow, I need to do more studying, cook a roast & wash the bedding. I may try to mop the kitchen floor as well.

I am off to bed now. Night night all x

Potty 9! That's brilliant! Well done!

DD has been sitting on hers at nappy change, and did 2 yesterday and 1 today. How did they get so grown up? She keeps saying "I a lady" lol. I think "not when you're sat with your legs akimbo and no knicks on you're not!" :D

Been out for curry, eaten too much starter, was really thirsty so just had two big glasses of water and now got tummy ache grrr.

Am home alone and hoping not to wake up at 6am...

    Evening peeps

Been MIA since the forum went down (wel Ive been giving the orders and DH has been doiong the flying albeit not a huge amount as been a strange week.

Back is improving with rest but I think compensating to avoid the pain seems to be triggering other aches and pains. Still its settling which has to be positive.
Been a strange week with highs and lows. Dh has been off work for 6 months before and after his op, and was dreading going back as he really doesnt have the fitness or the memory capacity to be able to operate 100% now, and work were not helping him at all, to the point that his manager refused to talk to him when he went see him. A day later he gets called back and they have said he can do alternate duties until he retires in January :T amazing result as its no more nights, no more physical or mental stress, and no more worrying about being in the firing line for other peoples mistakes.
At work we got notified on Thursday that they are closing 2 of our offices and reducing capacity at another so thats 45 staff going who need our support and more worryingly on Monday all the staff reps and management reps have been called to a meeting with the Chief Exec and head of HR. Dreading more bad news.

Been back through fred and will update on what we have done this week in a bit.

Good Intentions - Hope DD is doing ok and that the blood tests werent too bad for her

Bossymoo - love the updates on your babies, they sound gorgeous

Helen jelly - Snow Fairy is expensive but it is Lush!!! :D I agree with Pigpen that its worth paying extra but it is easy to get addicted :o. I think my favourite shower gel is Slammer and I really need to get some more, oh and its raining men. Oh goodness I think i need to do an order now.

Vanilla - Lucky is just that, very lucky that you found her.hope fred stays away from her. Also I have seen you refer to KD a couple of times, unsure of the reference but I hope its nothing serious

Pigpen - well done on the christmas shopping. Unable to give any ideas for girls despite DD being 13 as I dont think she's normal. Last year Santa bought a PS3 for the family and ive just bought Rocksmith for it as she loves her games on it and has recently had a guitar and went through a phase, so I thought that might renew her interest. DS already plays so he will use it too. Other than that its makeup, brush set, hair straightens etc. Admittedly I'm stuck for her main present this year.

Charelylovesphil - do you live near KL, if so you probably win the prize for living closest to me :D

Pixie Fairy - welcome to the thread. Youve been giuven soe great tips by the others, all I can add is just remember that if you dont achieve the full list it doesnt matter - anything is an improvement on nothing.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
