Good Morning All!!
What a happy bunch of campers you are all this evening! I love all this talk about free-holdings and vegetables! There is nothing more relaxing than plants and I am at my happiest among them..especially knowing the healing properties are so potent and often over-looked ....#hippyalert
We only have a half acre though which is still pretty massive for one man to look after! The planning permission in Northern Ireland was cancelled a while ago and many people were left with land they couldn't do anything with. We decided to buy this field directly beside our house at a serious knock down price. My Dad has many plans but due to the inclement weather over there we have to wait until spring to do more... hasn't stopped my Dad buying 20 apple trees!:rotfl:
So apples, damsons, pears and figs, 30ft greenhouse full of tomatoes ( for me )...a fresh spring in the middle of the field and possibly ducks... we shall see!!
So the lovely weather outside means that I might be inside for the entire weekend.. suits me fine to be honest. I need to relax, sleep, read books I should dust off first..(:D), scheme, plot and UPDATE MY SPREADSHEET!!!
I am very aware that my spreadsheet is poor, boring, not interactive with no formulas for calculating etc..Killer any online instructions for free that are simple and comprehensive..? Or any of you..help a poor NSK?? I do love a spreadsheet though and would like to keep a track of my eBay incoming payments and postage estimates and actuals..does that make sense. It will be interesting this time next year to see how much I managed to make on the side.. including overtime at work so I need a calendar in there as well....hummmmmph I shoulda sorted this out sooner!!!
Okay... time to search for my headphones, I really don't want to buy any more but seriously need to get some Christmas tunes in my ears....
Onwards and Upwards ....“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Have a look at bookboon for fairly comprehensive instruction to pretty much everything. : ) You just have to give them your email.
I'm going to have to buck the trend, I don't like gardening. It hurts. I much prefer buying my fruit and veg, hurting myself a bit carrying them and then recovering within a day to digging, preening, picking and hurting myself a lot then taking a week to recover.
Also, little bit annoyed, I had to cancel plans tonight because it's my brother's birthday and he's now asleep. He's a night carer so I can't blame him, but it promised to be a good night. Now all my friends are out having fun and I'm watching a movie with the largest number of man nipples ever. I don't want to see their weird, slightly hairy and a bit lop sided man nipples!0 -
Hi Ninja, the weather is awful eugh it really does notihng for my mood. I think my plans tomorrow include ironing
i am that hardcore lol x

Dammit, I just wrote out a message and its disappeared, don't you just hate it when that happens!
Anyway, it was on the lines of that I slept in until 7.40am today but feel like I am coming down with something and hoping its not tonsillitis as that is due i'm sure!
Today I have 101 things to do, namely:- hoover
- change beds
- ironing
- change cat litter
- help out at my friends charity wedding fayre (regretting offering but hey ho!)
- sort out the christmas presents (if I have time, not urgent)
- wrap up ebay packages for the morning
Kat, the orchard/land sounds great! I got some plastic planters off freecycle last year with the intention of planting veg in the back garden, they are still sitting there untouched, apart from MILs tomato plants which have made their way into some of them. Killer I am not a gardener either and am lucky to have DH who enjoys the garden, he has done a great job out there. He is also very good at DIY and cooking, so I have it all really! lol! He does have his bad points though so please don't think I have the perfect husband :rotfl::rotfl:
The weather has really calmed down here, the sun is out, no rain and the wind has calmed down so hopefully it will stay this way! There are fireworks off the end of the pier at 4.30pm so we will see that from where we are doing the wedding fayre so that will round off the day nicely!
Hope everyone has a great day xNov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

Annie you intrigue me with talk of piers, where on the south coast are you if you don't mind me asking?!
Busy old day you've got. You're more disciplined than I am if you're ironing! My ironing pile is from floor to ceiling inside my wardrobe. I iron when I need something specific, even with the beautiful £100 iron my parents bought me!! Oops!
DH is in bed until 11ish I suspect so I am cleaning without vacuuming. I want to see how much I could get for the books on my falling apart bookshelf so will do that today. Also got to get cards and little gifts for DH birthday Tuesday so not a NSD here!!!
Can anyone tell me what a PAD refers to in this forum? I'm a bit lost with some of the abbreviations!!! Xx

I think it's "payment a day"?? Or "paid a debt"....

Listerbelle I think its payment a day.
Liltdiddylilt I am in Worthing. Anyone else down this way?
I've finished half my ironing, hoovered, had breakfast, washed up and am just having a cuppa and watching reruns of Friends and will then get washed and dressed and will change the bed! I'll do the other half of the ironing tonight or tomorrow! I tend to iron in bulk when DS isnt around - easier that way!Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

Well good day ladies :-) I was bright eyes at 4 am could not sleep so got up and tidied up and ironed yipee I always feel like I've conquered the world when ironing is done. Went back to bed at 6 and just rewoke. Very pleased the cleaning is done none the less. It sounds and looks miserable out xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES.
