I know, I just get my hopes up when I see people watching, and then they get dashed down when no one bids at all.......

I will be number 13. Ha ha. It's just a really small firm in financial software so I'd be doing a bit of everything. It's standard 5 days and better yet, due to my mum and sister being part-time and my dad snuffing it, I'll be almost doubling my household income. I don't know when I start but I have to go in tomorrow to talk about all the details now.
I'm going to have money!
 I have to look after my money!
@bunny: GTM is global test market and one of my favourite survey sites : ) Also maximiles is another paid-to-click/survey/cash-back site which has a very nice referral scheme. Thanks for the tips I will show my family those sites!
Oh and metro bank is a rapidly expanding bank, in the last year there have been 3 opened/opening near me. They look pretty decent actually.
@happy and well everyone: there's some speculation in the banking world that internet banking will have to become a paid for service if the banking industry is too badly hit by new regulation and taxation (by both the EU and UK soveigns). Going to University public speeches is a great way to know about things before it hits the news. And they're free! The LSE has some epic speeches but I never could afford to go to them.
Also a friend of mine is going to buy me these to say congrats. : ) She's far too nice to me.0 -
Well done Killer, and thanks for the tips. All excited for you x0

It is a brand new bank in the UK, popping up everywhere in London, believe there is a branch in Holborn. They seem to be great to date, issue you a bank card on the spot, no waiting in the post etc...and they are open on SUNDAYS, pretty impressive.
Google Metro Bank online and you'll get the link as i'm not allowed to post links...lol :eek:0 -
http://www.maximiles.co.uk/ Here you are bunny. I find it easier to make maximiles than swagbucks but I don't try very hard! Lol

Excellent news killer, well done  I was so excited that I started to reply without reading your second post!! It sounds great, although make sure you keep up with us on the NSD front, even if you have money
I hope internet banking never becomes chargeable - I use it several times a day and couldn't live without it! Punish the people that don't check their statements, or let the bankers have smaller bonses!
I'm just home and already in my PJs with cottage pie in the oven (after all the fuss of getting a masher, turns out I don't really like cottage pie :rotfl: but I made 4 portions so it has to be eaten!). Having it with broccoli and brussel sprouts so it'll be half yummy!
Look at my signature :j:j I got a payment today from something I forgot about which took me to £200 exactly so I went to the bank and paid in £1 so that my Virgin balance was under £200 :rotfl: Very happy considering a month ago my aim was to not let the balance get higher!0 -
Good Evening Kittens and WELL DONE KILLER!!!!
Seriously a massive congratulations to you! This is a massive step in killing ( see what I did there ) debts and getting on the save-me-millions bandwagon. SO glad you are on this thread with all your tit bits from the world of banking stay near and keep posting. Its fascinating!!! I am thoroughly becoming more and more interested in the world of finance. I will never be able to be a financial adviser as the time / money / study investment is well out of my reach but I have an avenue at work that might be able to help me clinch my current interest into my working life... AND I am tempted to do a course in book keeping next year for "something on the side".. however moving on...:T:T:TWELL DONE KILLER!!!:T:T:T
I had a spend day today... bought hair dye.. ahem.. stress is starting to show! LOL!! But am really loving NOvember.. I am getting to grips with how I should be cooking, shopping and eating. I am more careful with bringing food wherever I go in order to avoid having to buy ANYTHING..
Kinky Sheila has been in touch and is moments away from paying up ...£28.50.. I might take the opportunity to get her parcel weighed to make sure I am not out of pocket! I have however sold a few items over the last few days.. nothing spectacular but it keeps me happy to know I am down-sizing and making money as well...
So I shall be doing some number crunching tomorrow and hopefully get my sig up to scratch.. watch this space...
Hope everyone sleeps well.. I got my hot water bottle and !!!!!cat in my bed!!!
