Good everning/morning everyone  how are you all? Busy weekend? MSE weekend? Nice to see some new faces
Kat, I love finding pennies...it's amazing how much pleasure I get from a sticky old 2p piece! I once found a £5 note - I picked it up so quickly, you'd have had to have been watching in slow motion to see me :rotfl: I used to save the coins in a jar, but now I just use them at the self service check out when I shop!
liltdiddylilt, I can't tell you how much I love your avatar :rotfl::rotfl: I've had that song bouncing around my head ever since I saw it...makes me laugh every time!
I MUST get into swagbucks - I have some Amazon vouchers I've been cllecting through other survey sites, but everyone raves about swagbucks...once you get your head around it.
I had my Sunday night ebay session - after I pay fees and postage, I made nearly £60 :T I paid off the interest which has been added to a credit card statement and the rest (£10) I transferred to Virgin...it'll be gone very soon I tell you!
Hammer Time :rotfl:0 -
Happy, maybe we could make that the next challenge - see how many swagbucks points we can get!0

Good Morning Kittens..
How is everyone this fine morning? Siouxsie I was wondering if its sad to walk into Nationwide with my penny jar and empty it on their counter..? I might wait until I have £10 worth of pennies and then take them in.. I'd love to create a queue at Tesco's with my pennies though instead...:T:T:T
I am now at work until 1900 so this should see me through another NSD. I really need to get some cat litter though but I turfed her out this morning to fend for herself for once.. she wakes up at around 0300 to annoy me if she just sleeps all day.. she is in my room with me as I only rent! I had to get up to curb her "messing around" three times early this morning. I am not a happy Kat...
Alas I only made £12.50 on eBay last night. Better than nothing I guess but I want people to stop watching and start buying!! I added everything back on, plus a few more bits.. am determined to down size productively and add some pennies to my jar!!!
Kinky Sheila hasn't come forward with a payment so I messaged her to kindly send funds today or I will relist the item tonight! Grr!
The bread I made yesterday wasn't quite as cooked as it should have been. This means I have to toast it to eat it and there is no yummy fresh bread with breakfast today! Boo hiss! I will have to work on testing it - clearly needed another ten minutes...
So there is a possibility of having to move AGAIN next year. This will be the 9th move in 11 years or so... I am completely and utterly sick of it! I am slowly getting rid of all my bulky items.. I am determined to be able to pack all my things in one truck if I have to move again or fold everything so small I can send it home to my parents if I decided to go traveling... who knows. I just want my own home and can't do that just now.. I just don't want to move again.
This means it might scuper my money-payback plans.. because I need to create a "motorbike pot" of £500 and a moving pot of £1400 due to deposits and month in advance, I have no ward-robes etc.. and a tabby!
Its just too much to take in having to do this all again!
Well now.. I need to crack on with actually work..:p:p:p:p..catch you all later!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. That sounds a bit of a nightmare to have hanging over you kat  It goes to show the need to have no debt and a bit of an emergency savings pot to fall back on. We'll get there!!!!! More decluttering is on the menu for me..
Talking of decluttering, since doing up my living room with a new sofa and getting rid of the old chairs etc, the cream rug looks like it's seen better days. It's really really difficult to vacuum so it's never as clean as I'd like it. Anyone got any ideas on how to clean it? If it's going to cost ££, I'd almost rather try to sell it as it is and buy a new one (smaller, cheaper but cleaner and nicer!). Obviously I'm not wanting to spend anything at all, but even after a good shake in the garden, it's still a bit shabby. It's currently rolled up in the corner of the room and my naked floorboards are on show (looks lovely, but I think the rug helps keep the heat in).
Having a lazy day today - was meant to be wall-to-wall busy, but it's so cold I'm still in my PJs (complete with jumper and fluffy socks) under a blanket on the sofa. I've pushed my busy day til tomorrow but confident of 2 more NSDs
Transferred £20 to Virgin after all my ebay people paid. All I have in my bank account is the postage amount so I hope I've calculated it correctly
This is the start of the dull time for me - nothing listed on ebay at the minute and no incoming payments for at least 2 weeks so I'll not have much to report...other than more NSDs0 -
Siouxie there is bound to be ways the you can shampoo it yourself.. what kind of rug.. shaggy rug..? There is bound to be advise on the old fashioned thread for something like this... defo don't buy another one... we shall get our heads together I think!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I've gotten £50 (paypal) payment thus far and have another £10 worth sitting in my account. Also games have a daily limit of 10sb a day but you don't have to actually play them, but let them sit there for about 5 minutes. I aim for 100sb a day but I know of people who get 4-600 in a day.
@Kat: wow you have moved a lot. I've only moved between home and uni...0 -
Wow 4-600 il see what i can get without obsessing its ok when your doing otherthings online but to loose hours in the day could be abit hard lol. I wonder how people make 4-600 a day ? thats 2000 videos :OI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Eh, I think you can only make 75sb a day from SBTV. There are usually some surveys to do (poorly paid so it's better to do other sites more than this one for surveys) which can be up to 200sb but are usually 60-70. Then there are the special offers, like one of the walls are offering you 30sb for joining quidco. It can add up pretty quickly. You also can win for searching using their search bar which on fridays is more generous.
I think the best I've done is 400 in a day but that was unusual. I'm on 90/100 right now. Ooh new survey from ippy! Woot. Then I must iron and wash up.0
