Hey Rosie, it seems that my impression is a bit late. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/saving/article-1689832/Reclaim-bank-charges-a-new-guide.html but one of the articles on here suggests it might be worth a shot depending on your situation http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/bank-charges and finally this appears to be a solid guide http://www.buyassociation.co.uk/money/reclaiming-on-excess-bank-charges.html

This is the first year me and oh are doing gifts im pretty excited :) xx

  • Good Evening and Good Morning Kittens...

How are we all this early on a Sunday morning? I am at work and will be until 0700hrs. What are you all up to today then?...

I had a splendid day yesterday but was caught up and wasn't able to post on here or with NOvember. I was out of the house quite early.. had a full on training day in central London, came home to nap and hug the !!!!!-cat.. got rudely awoken by fireworks outside my house ( and I mean directly outside ) and was into work and starting by 2300. It adds a nice rounded £160 to my "make £10 a day " challenge but I shall still be pushing the eBay purchases. I just wish these people that "watch items" would actually bid on them too! Grr!

So I finally intend to use the plum in my freezer ( about 2kg worth ) and get them out of the way so I can make reems more soup. I will hopefully have 6 kilner jars full ( bought on the cheap in TK Maxx last month ) and will use them as el cheapo Christmas presents...

Boobie - welcome to my thread. Its always great to have a newbie poke their heads in now and then! Even more fun that I get to call someone Boobie..:rotfl:How much is your debt? Come on now we are all friends - what are you trying to shift? Are you a hardcore money busting diva or checking us all out before you commit.... come on, join us...:p

Happy - nothing quite like a little Santa coercion for promoting good behavior! I don't think my parents actively discouraged the idea of Santa or encouraged it but I never accepted that reindeer could fly and would always question my little classmates on why they were silly enough to believe this - ahh see the practical NSK was showing even then aged 5!! :rotfl:

Rosie - Sorry to hear about the overdraft smack. Have you called thtem yet? I think you need to do that first as they sometimes give concession if its your first time asking for it to be waived ( as opposed to it being the first time you became overdrawn )... Nationwide let me off their horrifc £30 charge once. I think I might drag that out and challenge them since they did it more than once... thanks for the grim reminder...:):):)..lets beat 'em together!

Killer - when do you hear about the job???

Right I need to figure out this live streaming thingy and see what I can change. I will post back my results although I have already received two Dvds through the post. The second series of Zombies on The Walking Dead and to balance me out - Puss in Boots...:T:T:T:T

I shall have to see how many surveys I can get done too!

Will check in after sleepy time tomorrow...

    Onwards and Upwards!!

  • To receive your cashback you must sign up for your first no-obligation free trial. In order to qualify for your cashback, you must add at least ten discs in your rental list and receive at least 1 DVD rental by post. If you take the streaming only offer this term does not apply. For the LOVEFiLM Instant option you must watch 120 minutes of content to qualify.

Right - this makes me think that if you choose the ONLY streaming option you must watch 120 minutes. If you choose the Dvd only option you must have 10 dvds in your list AND have had one posted to you! I do not believe it is both!

    What do you think?

  • That's what I took from it Kat. I've got the live streaming only option, so just done 120 mins. My next door neighbour has no way to livestream so she has done the 10 DVDs with one out shortly!!

Sounds like u qualify already! :D
