Well good evening Kittens!1 Seems like you are all busy this evening. I am super psyched to wave good-bye to October and welcome in NOvember... Its going to a marvellous month especially as I have bread baking that will be ready for when I get up and fantastic soup copied from my Granny!!!

I am nearly about to hit the sack with kitty-cat ( the real one ) and am waiting for the clock to strike midnight....

Today has been a good day I think. I made soup in the blink of an eye as I spent a lovely evening with a girlfriend and her gorgeous baby ( she always cooks ) and I am super optimistic about clearing my debt..

Siouxsie can you believe I haven't banked that cheque yet.. I shall have to do it tomorrow for sure. I might bring it to work with me so I can pass the bank on the way home...

Thank you for the offer of admin assistance on NOvember.. I should be okay as it will only 30 days....**quiver**..

SO there you have it.. another month over.. how has it been.. how do you feel about what's to come.. I am excited thats for sure...and I am even more determined!!!

I'm super excited too - the clocks have struck midnight, it's time for our wallet lockdown! I love how every extra penny will go towards debt this month because I have the cash to get me through the month and I'm not allowed to spend anything over and about that. I like boundaries Any extra money that comes in, is extra money that's going straight back out again!

Bank that cheque lady, it's no good to you in your pocket! I guess finding a parking space for a bike is easier than a car? See, no excuse! Although, take care on those roads if it's as wet as this tomorrow - sounds horrible out there!

I'm all cozy, about to hit the sack too. My friend may be staying at the weekend so I washed my sheets and covers and created an excuse to have the heater on so that they could all be dry by bedtime...I'm all showered in my clean PJs an now I have clean sheets, I can't wait to go to bed :rotfl:

I'm soooo ready for the NOvember challenge....although, typically, my petrol card didn't arrive today so I've not been able to fill up :eek: but I have more than enough to get me through til next week sometime when I may be ready to buy more bananas so that can be SD number 1! I'll be organised though, I must get a birthday card the same day and I'm sure there's something else I forgot to get!

Anyway, here's to NOvember :beer: (two cups full of free tap water of course )

Morning everyone! I'm looking forward to the November challenges, I should have got petrol yesterday as I could have then had my first NSD day today instead of a NSD yesterday, beginners mistake, I will soon learn!!

We had loads of trick or treaters last night, DH got really involved and was raiding our cupboards to see what else we could give them!! At least it got rid of all the old biscuits/sweets that have been hanging around since DS birthday in September, and better for my waistline! lol!

Morning everyone How's ur Thursday so far? The rain kept me awake last night but then this morning I woke really early to beautiful sunshine! I'll be getting ready for work shortly but I'll be back later to check in on how everyone's day went. And kat, I'll be checking you banked that cheque

I changed one of my DDs for the loan that is Number 2 in this 450 day challenge to pay £50 more each month. The increase didn't go through in time so there was a spare £50 in my account. I was about to transfer it manually but I'm on such a roll with this Virgin card that I decided to pay it towards that instead! Now, it's looking possible that I can clear it before the end of November - well, I love a challenge! I have a few items ending on ebay tonight (and was due to set up a few more to start tonight but in reality I won't have time so they can wait til the weekend ) so that'll be another £20 or so in the pot! And my Quidco payment's on it's way too....oh yes, I love a challenge!!

Well a very good day to you all! Whereas I would normally come in and welcome you in to the day I thought best to get some actually work done as I realized I was getting distracted too easily..

So - its GREAT to see you in such good spirits. I too am looking forward to how this month transpires..

As you can see from my signature my money has greatly decreased.. the amounts paid towards these debts this month came to a whopping great - £1130.27!!! This includes the minimal payments to each loan that I have to pay each month ( this amounts to £430.37 ) - the other is a voluntary reduction in overdraft of £350 and sending the ex-boyfriend £350 ( as his last payment )...

I feel liberated at getting rid of the ex as nice as he was.. him leaving was my decision and would have liked to send him away with his money last year but that was not to be. It was November last year when we split so I could not let it go over a year...

I have withdrawn £140 for the bits I need to pay over the course of the month including food for NOvember..

This is going to be a super duper tight month like you would not believe but I am willing to push push push....

Kat you are such an inspiration to lots of others, I thought I would pop in here and wish you good luck as it may get swallowed up on the other thread.

I am really excited about this challenge, I think it was just the thing to re motivate myself. I got an email through to say a quidco payment is on the way woo hoo then I looked at the amount £2.12 ha ha not exactly loads, but it will go to the savings pot I have for my holiday next October, which I am frantically trying to save towards. It will be my first holiday for 7 years and even though I still have debt, I need to get away, i am usually ok with not having a holiday, but the time is right.

I have just found out that I am no longer in danger of redundancy, I just need to find out where I am to be working again come April. (NHS big reshuffle) so the immediate worry is gone now and I can pay the bills.

This is the best thing I have read here on this post. well..... that and the fact you are saving for a holiday in a year...YEAH!! Big congrats on the job front - that is a serious weight off your mind! The holiday will be all the sweeter knowing you are paying as you go along and not waiting for a massive noose to hit you when you get back...great planning - well done!!

WOuld you believe I have left the cheque at home. Although its great to know I have it and £32 on paypal to add to the debt!

Right that's it.. all this tap tap tapping and I am surviving on tea and Pepsi max. My skin is paying the price. I need to drink water so my skin clears and the boys will like me...

Good afternoon i take e it NOvember has started hehe, i didnt have one trick or treater to the house :O....some direct debits have gone out for me so the spreadhseet has been updated and its all looking clean. My challenge will be to not use the debit card i will draw cash out for the allocated spreadsheet spends so that it looks nice and clean. Happy challenge everyone x
