Realised today that I have been reading your diary but had never posted. We have a similar amount of debt, although I think you'll get yours paid off faster. You've come an awaful long way, not far to go now really:T

Hi banwa, i sometimes like to lurk lol its nice haha. Yes 2012 nearly draws to a close, we need to be realistic. I think we have done great i am just short of £50 away from 10 k paid off yippee. Enjoy the overtime and the walks with the pooch catch up soon and look forward to seeing your goals x

10k is great Happy! I haven't looked at mine yet but will do once I get Dec balances in. Can't wait!

Have lots of 2013 ideas going around my head....driving me mad. Still it's good to have a goal/aim and I know at least one of them will be becoming debt free....I soooooooooooooo can't wait for that!!

Decided to update sig with balances that I know to date for motivating reasons....now stands @ £18,547.34 :j:j:j

Have a few more balance i'm waiting for final bills to come in so will be a little less and this balance is from november payments. If I can finish 2013 with 18k or debt or less I will be happy and my 2013 goal of becoming debt free will be attainable.

I have one more lot of payments to make towards debts for 2012 on 15th December and that'll be it for this year. They should all amount to more than the 547.34 odd over 18k so we shall see.

Thanks Happy. I can really see an end in sight now. It's been a hard slog and will continue to be so but it'll be worth it in the end!

At the moment I am throwing approx £1200 per month of my salary (sometimes more) at the debt. I can't wait to be throwing that at something completely diff be it savings/mortgage or just a nice holiday for me and the hubby

This weekend will see me buying various diaries etc ready for 2013 action. Spending diary as well as I know I can be better!

Right, been thinking long and hard and I have come to the conclusion that I need to keep things simple (goal wise) next year so that I can reach my ultimate goal of becoming debt free!!

So 2013 is going to be all about debt clearing. With this, come a lot of organisation and hard work so my goals will be centered around this really.

Hmmmm.....off to ponder some more.....will be back with a list! :-)
