Ooh, i'm getting excited now that i've signed up to a few challenges. The 20p and £2 coin saving should see me sorted for Christmas 2013 so that's something I don't have to worry about and leaves me to focus on my main goal - becoming debt free in 2013!!!

This weekend sees me working overtime Saturday which will go into January pay therefore starting me off well on my challenge. I will also be out and about with hubby as we have a "date day" on Sunday. We're both sooooooooo busy in December that we thought it was nice to book in some time just us. We have a weekend booked in as well later in Dec

I want to pick up notebook and diaries for 2013 this weekend so I can get them prepped and planned ready for my new challenges. I also need to sign up to NSD's thread - as this will help a lot with my ultimate goal.

FC 2013 will be the year I see the back of this horrible mess!

That sounds like a good plan choc. It's best to get the diaries organised so you know where you stand. I'm hoping to carry £500 over to next payday then I can attack another negative wealth I'm REALLY excited. We should know on Tuesday the actual amount of bonus :-) xx

Wow, where did the weekend go?! Had a super one, lots of quality time with hubby. Just shame it passed so quickly

Managed to work some overtime saturday morning so that's extra towards January payday to throw at the debts

Didn't manage to get my diaries and notebooks - everywhere I went they were either too expensive or not practical for my needs. I will check local supermarket as normally have some reasonable ones in this time of year.

I need to make a start on my christmas cards this week so I can post/give them all out this weekend. Trying to be organised. It's not bliming easy when working 6/7 days a week!

Just emptied purse from the weekend. 60p in 20's and one £2 coin....means i've saved a fiver without even really thinking about it. Imagine what the balances will be come end of 2013! A nice little way of saving without even thinking about it - perfect

Hi choc, yes the weekend has quickly passed. Well ive been updating my signitured; i made a £500 overpayment to a credit card which i dont normally do but with it been the xmas month and one that encourages spending i didnt want to sit looking at it and dipping in! ive also increased my minimum payments to some of the cards and i have updated my signiture accordingly. One thing im annoyed about is one of the cards sneakly put the intrest up so its messed up what i thought it was but it has given me the incentive to speed up a bit more.

Well done on the unexpected savings i love finding money in my purse lol. Have a great day choc.

pps i have set my sights on a total overall payment of 40k before the year is out probably more with ohs bonus but that could be decembers pay or early jan im very very very excited xxx

Happy - that'll be amazing if you can reach the 40k mark. Another milestone reached.

Today was a busy day workwise - finishing in a moment.

This evenings to-do-list -

• spruce downstairs
• dust and hoover
• swish around kitchen
• prep chilli for dinner
• hoover hall/stairs/landing
• swish bathroom
• empty washing machine
• pack away clothes
• go to super market (food shop and hopefully diaries!)
• relax for at least an hour
• bath & bed

Hopefully the house stuff shouldn't take long. It's not a deep clean, just a swish about the house and tidy. Leave the proper clean for this weekend.

Food shop can be done when hubby at gym, that way I have time limit and can't browse about the clothes and buy extra!

Need to be in bed for 11pm at latest as struggling to get up of late!

Oh and need to add a dog walk into the equation, that can be my exercise for today as did 30 min walk at lunch with her so anything on top this evening is a bonus!

Another day ahead of work....dull dull dull but it pays the bills!

Managed to get a few things done on my list but realised I need some proper time to sort/organise as if I did I wouldn't spend half my time doing the same things over and over (which hubby pointed out :mad:).

Still didn't manage to get my diaries :mad: I'm going to check online and see what I can get.

Nothing else to report. Today should be a NSD as can't see me needing to leave the house apart from taking the pooch for a walk.

Hi choc have a good day, ive made a payment today and shaved a whopping £2.11 off haha its a joke. I will make more overpayments as money comes available i need to be realistic . off to work i go catch up later xx
