however I didnot check the T&C's and just ticked the box (as I do on most websites I amafraid to say as they are always so laborious to read)
You call it a scam, yet you admit that you didn't bother reading the T&Cs.
Do you regularly hand over your credit card details without checking what you are agreeing to?
You agreed to a continuous payment authority and as such, there is no guarantee that cancelling your card will stop them using the authority to take a payment from your replacement card. However, as you've told them to cancel, if they do take money you should have a good argument for getting your bank to refund as an unauthorised transaction.
It's one thing not to bother reading the T&Cs on a forum like this, but if someone asks you for your bank/card details I would recommend in future that you read the T&Cs thoroughly to avoid being in a similar situation again.0 -

I understand this is my fault and I appreciate your comments - but yes Iwill admit that along with many others in this country I am far too trustingand did not read the website T&C's - I am kicking myself and can assure youam am usually more astute.
You say this is not a scam however reading other comments on this forum it seems to be difficult to get the company to accept your cancellation and comfirm recipt of returned goods so I would say that justifies me calling it a scam.
Saying all of that I would like to say that your comments are not particularlyhelpful - I already realise and have admitted to being in the wrong by notchecking the T&C's and do the only reason Ihave posted is in the hope that other people do not get caught out!

Hi,
I also fell for the scam. However I did not actually confirm payment! I have cancelled my card and am still awaiting the RMA NUMBER. How long did it take for you all to get them? I have tried calling but no answer.0 -
I'm back! After countless attempts I have managed to get my RMA numbers. Should I still attempt to get the correct delivery address or have faith in the po box address?0

if you didn't confirm payment, how have you managed to get RMA numbers?
if they have your card details, i'm afraid cancelling the card may not stop payments being taken - if nutrascience can show there is a debt owing, they can get your new card details from visa and charge thathelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
I have been taken in by this scam. I have used this forum before over another issue with successful results. So after reading on here this what i have done
1. I rang ketone premium phone number after receieving my product. I cancelled my subscription which i recorded the call. I got an RMA number
2. I contacted my bank Co-Operative bank whom are aware of the scam and have blocked ketone and any sister companies involved.
3. I contacted Royal Mail who said to return item by special delivery as even though the company use PO Box address, items still have to be returned.
4. If i still continue to recieve any further products or mail i shall contact European Trading Standards.
I will keep you all informed of any developments0 -
Hey all I am silly really believed the website I went to and have ordered ketone premium and cleanse premium. I have called today to instantly cancel as have not even received goods yet but the contact number to call does not let you go through to speak to anyone so I don't know what to do now I'm going to contact my bank and see if they can help but I was hoping they would not even send products now. Does anyone know how I can get a contact number that lets me speak to someone rather then a machine that does not give that option? Thanks for help0

Hey Hun the number I rang was this 0844 745 2161 but its just a computer you can't actually get to speak to someone. It's horrible what they have done the website looked so real with the study of it and I just though the purchase page was made really bright to sell product. I'm still scared Hun as I can't find a number where I can actually speak to anyone and I only placed mine last night rang to cancel today but still in dark0 -
I to thought the slimtone and body cleanse sounded just what I needed after a really bad year. The day I received it I phoned to cancel as it was dearer than I expected. I returned them unopened but was unable to do recorded delivery as it was a PO address and was not offered a receipt as proof of purchase, so posted it anyway. Silly me. I sent it by first class airmail so they would have got it within 8 days from me ordering yet they say they haven't received them and charged me 112.50. I looked at their website site and my account had been cancelled 19 days before they took payment from me. No receipt or proof of postage means no refund is what they keep telling me and that I should have taken a photo as proof of postage. All this by email and is ongoing, my next move is to post on Facebook hopefully it may stop someone else from making the same mistake.0
