Hi! I too fell for this stupid scam! Although I didn't look at the T&Cs that were so tiny at the bottom of the page an ant would struggle to read! I was excited for this free trial! And thought all natural products - no harm done. Luckily when my pills arrived I thought to do a bit of research and came across this link! I have phoned up and cancelled and sent my pills back but I am under no illusion that the pills will 'not be received' and I will be charged! But my queries are 1. DID WE SIGN UP TO MONTHLY PAYMENTS OF 75??? Or will I just be charged once for 75?? I have also contacted the bank three times and basically I have to wait and see if they take money out and then contact the visa disputes team. Please can someone help! Thanks!0

After being caught by this company and failing to get through on the phone I contacted my bank. They couldn't get my money back for the two months (£224!) I had paid but did say they would contact the the company to say the must take no further money and that if they did I could claim it back. More tablets were sent this month and £112 charged to my account but the next day it was refunded. Hopefully it is resolved!0

Don't panic. If you have fallen for this scam wait until the postage and packaging has been debited from your account, then cancel your debit card. You trial bottle will arrive eventually and continue to use the full months supply. Don't waste your money or time trying to return the bottles as no address is given deliberately. Simply call the number and cancel the next months supply just incase they want to take you to court ( which they won't as they are well know for ripping people off) the details you have given then are your card details not your account details so they are unable to take any money from your account. They may email you moaning but ignore them. Unfortunately if you have cancelled your card after the money for the supply was taken Im not sure what you can do except talk to your bank0

Cancel your card ASAP, you'll get a new one in a few day and won't need to worry about any further payment being taken from these horrible people0 -

Cancel your card, they can't take your money from a cancelled card, your bank should have told you this0 -
I fell for this scam recently too...i cancelled my card...and have just spoken to my bank...who have told me that i need to speak to the Disputes team...as just cancelling my card isnt enough...if i "signed up to subscription!" (which i wasnt aware i had at the time)the details are automatically renewed for that!!...i have emailed the company to cancel my membership and returned the package by recorded delivery...and did recieve an email back telling me they had cancelled it...i also phoned to cancel the membership just to be sure...but there is no option to speak to an actual person...all automated!!!0

Cancel your card, they can't take your money from a cancelled card, your bank should have told you this
You have given the same incorrect advice 3 times.
The posters that you have advised have given a continuous payment authority to the merchant, which gives them the authority to debit money from the card until the cardholder cancels the thing they were subscribing to.
If the card is cancelled then when the payment request is made, it will either be made to the replacement card or the account will be reopened.
What they should be doing is taking whatever action is required to cancel their subscription and advising their bank not to allow any more payments to be made to that merchant.
With regards to the payments already made, they can speak to their bank about getting them refunded. However, they haven't been scammed, they have failed to read the T&Cs that the agreed to, so this may not be successful.0 -
I feel so stupid as I also got caught out by this scam on Friday.
I came across it via a diet page on Facebook called 'diet tips daily' whichseveral friends had 'liked' the post that appeared in my news feed had a linkto a magazine article by Women’s Health (or so I thought) the results seemedgreat and the website and article seemed real.
They were promoting the trial product they had used as it had a 'higherlevel of ketone' than other products and had a link to the website to takeadvantage of a free trial with discounted P&P.
I clicked on the link and was then redirected to the ketone premium websitewhere I placed my order for Ketone and Cleanse Premium products - however I didnot check the T&C's and just ticked the box (as I do on most websites I amafraid to say as they are always so laborious to read) and only once my orderwas completed (without being sent to verified by Visa) it mentioned that I mustreturn the trial product within 14 days if I did not want to be charged £39.50per product.
This started to set off alarm bells but I thought I would just contact thecompany and cancel
However I have never received an order confirmation from this company and asthe weekend has gone by I have become more worried and then I stumbled acrossthis forum thread!
I am absolutely mortified that I have been caught out as I am usually socareful!
I have contacted my bank this evening and have cancelled my card - I bankwith HSBC and have been told that no money can now be taken from this card.
I have contacted Ketone Premium via email and have also cancelled bothorders for Ketone and Cleanse via the website on an online form - however beaware that even at this stage they are trying to take more money from you by offeringa 'quick cancel' option that means you pay a one off fee for 'hundreds ofpounds of weight loss products'!
I have also emailed the company although I expect no response and have askedthem to cancel the order and not even send the product - but we will wait andsee what happens.
In the meantime I will be checking my bank account daily to make sure thismoney does not come out as I am still concerned due to what others have said onthis forum about the advice their bank has given as I a stay at home mum (thiswas a way to shift some baby weight) and part time student and we cannot affordthis product on my husband’s wages alone!
If the products do arrive I will be returning them asap with the RMA numbersI have now been provided with.
I have posted all over Facebook that this is a scam but I would warn friendsand family about this!
And for those of you thinking why order a product that is too good to betrue or why order pills that won’t work - true I went for an easy option but itis very easy to get sucked in when you are desperate to lose weight!
