Hello guys, feel so stupid do same thing and then find out all these
I want to ask, if you change your card and not return these first items back, are they going to charge you in any way or find you? Because I sent them email to cancel this but didn't get any reply.

I too fell for this-I sent the tablets back within the 14 day period-was unable to send via "Signed For" as it is a PO box address but I have got a proof of posting certificate and have taken a photo of the package with the relevant reference numbers on the OUTSIDE of the envelope, directly below the address (another sly condition!). Have just called my bank (Barclays) who are very aware of this company's antics-ordering a replacement card will not help as payment has been authorised against the account BUT if the payment is taken, it will be refunded when reported to your bank via the "Unsolicited Cancelled Order Payment" procedure. What a faff!!! I am usually soooooo careful! Hope this helps .
(The other alternative is to close the bank account immediately).

Thanks for that, I was just wondering, how long did you leave between receiving and returning the items and cancelling your account with Slimtone? I cancelled my account with Slimtone within about 10 minutes of signing up when I realised what I thought I'd signed up for wasn't in fact what they were charging for.

Although they sent me the cancellation code they said that I would still be charged for my trial products, but if I returned them I'd be refunded by 14th December. As I hadn't actually been sent anything by that point I told them not to bother. I figured that would be it, after all it's much easier not to send something to someone who doesn't want it than send it, receive it back and then give a refund right?

Clearly not because I had a parcel this morning, so I will be returning the products first thing Monday. When I checked my account I found they didn't appear to have taken postage yet so I cancelled my card, the woman I spoke to said charges against the card won't go through but direct debits from the account still can. I had hoped that by cancelling my account with Slimtone I was effectively ending the monthly direct debit and by cancelling my card I could prevent any money being taken after I'd returned the products, but given your post I assume not.

I have just re-visited their websites, guess what - The bodycleanse.com site is up for sale and the slimtoneplus.com site only has phone numbers and a link to cancel, nowhere can you purchase anything. So just maybe they have gotten the message.
I hope so, these types should be in the slammer, the end of last month I sent 3 emails and never received a reply, so did not have a RMA to return the items. Cancelled the credit card and so far nothing has been taken from the replacement card and the "stuff" is still here...............

It is not enough to cancel your card. They can still charge you according to my bank. You must block payments to them.

I was charged £75.00 and it is pure robbery....how can i go about getting a refund? please advise me as i do not have a lot of money as it is and with Christmas coming this money could be better served in other areas of my life!

I can not believe i've fell for this, if anyone has received a refund on there £75.00, please can you let me no how i can do the same, 5 tablets have been used, i cant afford to through £75.00 away and this has left me with no money and overdrawn, thanks Ashley

Ahhhh! I too have ordered this today and had my doubts straight away. I've rung the bank but they can't do anything yet. I am so mad with myself. I have never been scammed before
