:j Just an update on what happened to me. I contacted my credit card company and was advised that with Mastercard as I wasn't made fully aware of the charges they will be crediting my account with everything that has been taken and they take up the dispute with the company.

She has told me to hold on to any goods, don't throw them away- as the company have 45 days to dispute the claim and if they want to can collect their goods. So DON'T throw them away - Keep them and the packaging safe.

She wasn't sure what the case was with the banks or other cards, apparently they all have different terms. But I say it is definitely worth calling your bank or credit card company. I know buying with a credit card sometimes costs a little extra but it's worth it for the protection!

I am so pleased it is sorted, I couldn't sleep last night for feeling so angry and stupid. I hope other people can get the same result. These companies should be stopped, particularly as it seems they are well known for it!

Just remember that the 45 days allows the company to re debit your account. The refund is only a temporary one until they have had time to respond to your card issuer.
  • I bought the ketone last monday. The package arrived on thursday. Yesterday I got an RMA number. Today I sent the package back special delivery with tracking and that to a West Lothian address in Scotland that came on the package. I cancelled my card last week and had my bank stop any more payments going out. I've since emptied my account and it has 29p in it. I rang the customer service to let them know my new card details, but she said that she couldn't accept any new details and that because it's the same account, £139 will be credited to my account within 3-5 weeks.

Honestly, will I get any money back?

And if the company don't refund me, can I take this up with my bank's retail disputes team? As it states in the T&Cs that if the products are returned, then a refund will be given

Yep ... Credit card company told me about this but also told me that they will continue to refund any attempt to take money out of my account. That was also why she told me to hold on to the pills and not throw them away.
  • Hey everyone, i'm also a victim of this scam- too desperate to have a bikini body for the summer and was convinced of this quick fix. It is a scam and the horrible people on the other side are to not be trusted or even waste time calling them like have for weeks. I lost my £150 on the 19th feb, however not until have i found a solution. After confessing the mistake to my mum she went to our local bank branch and spoke to them. CANCEL YOUR CARD STRAIGHT AWAY OR WITHDRAW ALL YOUR MONEY FROM THAT ACCOUNT. They will continue to take money from you every 15 days i have heard!!!!!!!!!!

After speaking with an advisor I was told to ring them straight away, cancel my card and say that £4.95 was meant to be taken from my account however £150 has, so they put me through to the lost/stolen department who cancelled the card and updated the security. On monday i can now ring them again to get back the full refund as the bank should of prevented the extra money from going out as it was not allowed to.

    LADIES THERE IS HOPE!!!!!
  • I was emailed today about Sample Raspberry Ketone For 2 Weeks: #1 Selling Diet Product In The UK.
Having been caught out by the Nutrascience free trial that is so tightly wrapped in terms and conditions you end up paying £75 for a tub of useless tablets, I checked the Slimtone Plus link and lo and behold, same free trial Ts&Cs.
BTW: I have looked all over the net for retribution for Nutrascience, and haven't found a single post where someone says they returned the goods within the strategically hidden 14 day trial period, and didn't get stung. I have seen hundreds of posts from people who, like me were hoodwinked out of lots of money.....

the email is info@superkentoplus.com or Tel:UK08009098021.lve had the same happend to me?l went into my bank and told them what had happend and askd them to stop all payments going out to them. l also phond this number and told tham not to post any more bottles to me and cancel my acct with them as its a scamso good luck to all out there please forward this l do hope this gets stoped

I clicked on the Facebook ad for this product on the 4th March- really stupid I know! The transaction went through although I didn't get any email confirmation or anything on the screen with terms and conditions or confirmation that the order was taken- all I know was I was meant to pay £4.95 postage! As the transaction hadn't gone through I thought nothing of it until about 3 days later I received a Royal Mail red card saying I had a parcel to collect as I was out. I left collecting it for a few days but when I did, realised it was the tablets! At first I wasn't happy as these tablets have gelatine in them and as a veggie that's a no go area so I searched online for the Facebook ad for details of anything about the company like an email address to contact them for returns procedure. Whilst looking online I came across this and other sites saying this was a scam and that a lot of money had been taken from bank accounts. Anyway- I then decided to look at my bank statement and to my horror they had taken one payment of £1.99 using WHOLENUTRA SAFFRON as the company who took the money and then one payment of £153.95 as a company name BUY4HEALTH . I rang my bank immediately who said that would block any future payments from those companies or anyone else that sounds similar. I was advised to try and contact the company and aim to return the goods. Yesterday I spent a lot of time reading comments online and decided to return the 3 bottles to the address on the envelope- postcode EH49 7YH. I did manage to get through the someone in the USA via the number on the despatch note but at first was told I didn't need a returns number just send the bottles back to the address from the email confirmation. I explained I never had an email so didn't have the address- she then told me that she couldn't give out the address on the phone as she didn't have access to it, but she was sending another email to me there and then. I waited over an hour for this email but it never appeared so I rang them back and spoke to a man called Chris who said I did need an Returns number and he gave me the address with postcode EH49 9AT in which to send them back along with the returns code. After putting down the phone I checked the postcode he had given me straight away with the Royal Mail checker website- no surprise that the address/postcode he gave was not recognised!
Anyway- today I have posted the 3 bottles back along with a letter asking for my money back and I printed out a copy of some terms and conditions I found by googling BUY4HEALTH which also had the 'fake address-EH49 9AT listed! I also included a screenshot of the Royal Mail site saying that the address Chris had given was fake! I wanted to show that I wasn't a silly young girl but had done my investigation and was onto them!

I contacted my bank again tonight to let them know that I had been in touch with the company and returned the goods -they seemed quite surprised I had managed to get hold of them! They immediately said was this raspberry ketone so I am guessing this wasn't the first time!

Anyway- I was passed to the department for disputes/fraud and was told that they would be able to request the money back from them on my behalf and get a refund within. 3-4 hours! They also said they would be able to block any future payments coming out from them. I have just checked online and my bank (LLoyds) have already refunded me minus the £4.95. I'm so happy! If the company however dispute it and say I authorised the £155 in total to come out then they would take it back from me- I can't see how they can dispute this as I didn't have any email and I most certainly would not have paid over £150 for 90 tablets! The man at lloyds asked if it was raspberry ketone so I am convinced they are well aware of these scumbags!

I have been so ashamed and stressed at all this (I haven't even told my husband) so PLEASE don't get conned- and if it's too late then contact your bank. This is a happy ending.
  • To Dory1974
Can I ask which address you did eventually send them back to please as have received mine today and just called for a RMA number.
Have been told to send them to the address on website which is the one you said didn't exsist

Emma- this is dory1974 ( I couldn't remember password and link to change to new one didn't work do I created new account)
Anyway I sent the parcel yesterday to EH49 7YH - the one that's on the envelope! Po box is 13511

I sent it RECORDED DELIVERY (I would definitely recommend this) and I checked online and it was signed for at 11am today by someone so I know they have it.

I put a letter inside asking for a refund and included a screenshot if the Royal Mail site saying the address they gave was incorrect- they can't dispute that you didn't ever send/etc if it's tracked.

Good luck with it. But contact your bank as they refunded me rather than waiting for the scumbags
  • I received my 14 day trial, £4.99 box of tablets. Apart from suffering from headaches & no weight loss this comapny had taken £95 from my bank acc 2 weeks later. I phoned this company from the UK (there based in California!) & was told the £95 was for another 30 days worth of tablets. I complained & got a £50 refund, I was also told the 2nd shipment of tablets had already been sent only to receive an email today saying my acc had been closed & other shipments had been cancelled. So the 14 day trial offer ended up costing me £49.99
As soon as I saw the £95 had come out I phoned my bank to make a stop in paying Raspberry ketone anymore money. HSBC were very helpful, however they couldn't offer me any "diet" advice :), but it did make the teller laugh! I am not laughing & feel completely scammed!
