That is impressive, I am hoping to pay off £12,000 by this time next year but have had to move home with my parents to do so. I hope to have my debt paid off in 3 years time as that is when I plan to move back into my house.

I had to log in when i read your post as something similar happened to me ..friends with a guy for a long time (years rather than months). There was some attraction between us as ended up in the sack with several times..next thing i know he went AWOL for a month and then i see on a status on his FB "im a dad" .. It was news to me :eek:. It turned out he had been in a relationship whilst claiming he was single.

I stopped being friends with him after that..

I was seeing this guy and he waited until we were "exclusive" or whatever you want to call it before dipping the bomb that his ex was due to give birth to his child in 4months! I stuck by him as hard as it was but he cheated on me 7months later!

Not worth the hassle and now I remain firmly single!

Hi Everyone

I wondered if I could join your group. I've been on my own for 2 years today. My ex left me and my 3 girls with massive debts. I got a promotion at work recently, and have now decided I need to tackle this head on, and get my life back on track.

I like many of you don't want to be in a relationship at the moment, and I don't really have much of a social life because my kids are so young.

Any tips would be welcome

I'd have posted something very interesting on his FB wall.... "Hey hun, I understand why we can't see each other again. It's not something I would want to 'risk' if you know what I mean. Hope everything went well at the clinic though"..

No I'm not, should of taken screen shot of text and posted on here but have deleted all forms of communication with it!

Just to let you know we are not all like that! I'm not saying that I am a saint by any means but have never cheated on anyone that I have been with.

I am aware that guys can be right bar stewards but you girls can be just as bad!

My ex has a gf and wanted to meet up, bear in mind he lives 300miles away. I said no he has a gf and he said he wasn't happy blah blah blah, he apparently planned to finish with this poor lass since I lat spoke to him, I said you go away as sort things out with her and he said he'd be in touch as due to come up today. Ie heard nothing.

I'm guessing he's been found out by his gf. Serves him right!

P.S. I repeatedly told him to give it a better go with her.
